I was not too impressed by what I saw here.
I came here at around 20:30, just when it opened.
The paella was on the "secret menu", and you had to ask for it, which I felt like was slightly strange.
Seafood paella
The paella was 14€ per person (somewhat expensive to be honest), and was served in a shallow iron pot/skillet. I thought the paella was a little too dry for my taste, and a little flavorless. There was definitely an effort for proper presentation of the dish though. Seasoning was slightly off too, with a powerful salty flavor coming in and out due to uneven seasoning of the green stuff (still not quite sure what it was).
Pork "sausage" with cherries
I initially ordered the pork tenderloin with cherries, but the chef asked if he could substitute it with "sausage" (as he told me in English). I said yes, and got these balls of ground pork. It was over seasoned and very salty. However, there was again a good effort to properly present the dish. I just wish they could take it easy on the seasoning.
Service
The waitress basically scolded me for drinking my bottled water in the restaurant. Not sure what she said, but it was something along the lines of this is not a gym. It's not my fault your food is so salty, and your water is not free...
Definitely a funky experience, and I would recommend tourists to avoid this. It is more or less a trap, and a evening robbery. My eating mate really enjoyed the paella, so I am giving it one extra star, because it isn't a "stay away everybody" type of place, just people who can't stand overpowering flavors. read more
