I merely asked to keep the eggs in the fish. I would NOT recommend shopping at this establishment until they replace the RUDE man with someone who values loyal customers. My family and I had been shopping here for decades. Never have we ever had such bad experience!

Kowloon Market is the largest supermarket in Chinatown. It serves to be a one-stop shop for your groceries, barbequed meats, bakery, and more. The bakery looked good. Sadly, someone decided to eat the top of one of the pineapple buns. The dome covering these buns was also wide open, so you need to be aware of the cleanliness, or lack thereof. I did my good deed of the day by closing it. No, I didn't eat the imperfect pineapple bun! It has a good selection of snacks and tea. I learned that you can get do-it-yourself candies. It was eye-opening for me, as I seem to be missing out on these trends. I chatted with a 69-year-old woman in a wheelchair while we were browsing. This supermarket seems to be a social area for some, which is nice. I appreciated dropping by this supermarket to cool off while sipping my bubble tea. If you live in the area and don't have a car to get groceries, this supermarket takes care of your food needs and more. (264)

Warning: All food prepared and served at this restaurant is highly addictive. Approach with an…read moreempty stomach and extreme caution. I used to frequent this place when it was known as The Golden Turtle. I believe that it has changed ownership a few times since then, but it is back and better than ever! Not only has the management redecorated very tastefully, (no longer am I mistaking stains on the walls for abstract art) but the menu is smaller and simplified while still giving plenty of options to satisfy your lusty appetite. Yes that's right - a lusty appetite. The yearning for the food from this place goes way beyond craving or desire. It's a visceral thing that MUST be satisfied at all costs. Go there. I dare you.

Wow, who would have guessed that a wonderful pho (Vietnamese noodle soup) shop exists in Ottawa?…read more I certainly didn't! One of the last days in Ottawa, my coworkers decided to take me to pho for lunch. After a fruitless search for some other spot on another street that ended up to not be open that day, we ended up here. Now, I only had their pho ga (chicken noodle soup) here but I saw everyone else's pho tai and it looked great too. My pho ga here was as good as any bowl I've ever had at Turtle Tower and Pho Ga Huong Que- deliciously tasty and soul-warming chicken soupy bowl of goodness. Authentic to a T. The imperial rolls we had were also fried tasty morsels of yum. Thank you J-Mac and Michel for driving and bringing me here, you guys are awesome!
