The building itself is an old structure from Akron's industrial past, and it's great to see a business thriving there. It's open to the elements, so you definitely need your coat, gloves and hat when shopping in the winter. There's ample off street parking and you get an impressive view of the Route 8/77 highway construction from the front entrance.

Shopping in the summer is fine but during the fall, winter and spring is not worth the trip. The roof leaks on materials and there is always water on the floor. Your phone calls will not get returned and you have to physically go to the store to ask a question. All the positive reviews are by friends and family and not actual customers.

I recently had a need for some fill dirt at my property. I searched around on the internet several…read moredifferent times, and stumbled upon All Rocks Are Us. They had exactly what I needed, so I called to place an order. I received their voicemail box, and left a message. Within 15 minutes, they called me back to fill my order. They stated they were a bit backed up at the moment, so we settled on a day and time. They went over my order with me, and even explained that what they were delivering, fill dirt, was not suitable for growing grass or plants, that it had lots of sand and rock in it, which is what I needed for drainage. They went on to tell me that their fill dirt was not covered, and that it was projected to rain before delivery, and asked if I'd like to move out delivery so I didn't have to work with a wet product, something I've not had other companies offer in the past. I explained my timeframe, and we agreed on the date and time. So the day comes for delivery, and it was supposed to be delivered at 9:00 am. At 8:45, I received a phone call explaining that their driver had been delayed, and they would get it here as soon as they could, unless I needed to reschedule. I said that was fine, and by 9:30, they delivered. I can't tell you how many times I've waited on a delivery, and the person or service are hours behind the scheduled time, with no phone call or explanation. I was thoroughly impressed with their professionalism, customer service, and the product I received too. I would highly recommend them for any Akron area landscape needs you may have.

If you're going to build or modify anything related to your home, I'd start looking for materials here first. When I visited, they had a good selection of windows, doors, flooring, and moulding. They had a limited selection of ceramic tile and sticky carpet squares. Unfortunately, they didn't have the style of flooring that I was looking for, but I was happy to learn of this place and I will be visiting in the future to check for materials for home improvement projects.

I redid my front yard along with adding a pool in the back, and I had to tear out quite a bit of my yard in the process due to it being old and I had drainage problems. A friend had me contact Ettore Scassa, the owner of Roio Sand and Gravel. He came out and took a look at my property and had plenty of suggestions. He took my order and the material was delivered the same day. Since I was doing alot of the work myself, Ettore stuck around for a bit and gave me some tips on how to spread the topsoil and where to place darinage areas, along with plenty of help on setting grade, etc. My yard is still under construction but is well on its way to being the best in the neighborhood. Ettore and his brother Nick run this business as a family and treat you as a family member. I will recommend no one else for sand and gravel in Stark County.
