We've used Showstopper Painting twice--with very different experiences…read more The first time was great. They painted our rental property efficiently and professionally. Although they were a bit pricey, the quality and service made it feel worth it. Because of that, we hired them again to paint the exterior and interior of an investment property. Unfortunately, this time around was a major disappointment. After carefully selecting a soft, off-white color called "Casa Blanca," we were shocked to walk in and see the entire interior painted bright white--walls, ceilings, and trim. It turns out the painters misunderstood the color name as "white house" and painted everything white. A simple confirmation call or text would have avoided the mistake. To try to make it right, they offered to paint the bathroom (which I had originally planned to do myself). I placed the correct paint can by the door--yet they still painted the bathroom white. They did eventually come back to correct that error. There was also overspray left on the windows, which they did eventually come back to clean, but only after being asked several times. We chose not to have them repaint the entire interior, but it was disappointing. The lack of communication between the supervisor and the crew was obvious and frustrating. Sadly, we won't be using Showstopper Painting again. There are plenty of painters out there who charge less and communicate better. We expected the same great service as our first experience, but this second time really missed the mark.

I was so busy on her last day of the job that I didn't really examine carefully to make sure I was 100% with everything I wanted in my house design. We communicated after the job about doing a follow up in doing the additions I wanted in the boys room. she responded to assure me she will take care of it. I was so pleased to had received a thank you card in the mail from her. The only reason why I gave her 4 stars for now is because I am still waiting for her to do the necessary minor additions to my boys room. I will update my rating and post pictures of her work once all is completed. I want to make sure we have a formal walk through with the paint task done which would guarantee me and any customer to be 100% satisfied.
