I spoke with five different surgeons in the Bay Area and she really stood out for her professionalism. More so than any other surgeon, my consult with her felt like a medical appointment as opposed to a sales pitch. She went into my medical history and went to great lengths to understand the results I wanted to achieve, especially as a smaller person trying not to go too big. She was honest, patient, and highly informed and willing to go into great detail about the procedure, which I really appreciated. Jolie (the practice manager) was also fantastic for laying out all of the details of the surgery and making sure it went smoothly. I trusted her enough to try a new implant (Motiva) that she hadn't worked with previously and do not regret my decision at all. The surgery itself went very smoothly and I had a surprisingly quick recovery (2 days of bedrest for 215-230cc implants under the muscle). Dr. Weintraub and Jolie were very responsive with the questions I had about aftercare. Three months post-surgery, I'm incredibly happy with the results and keep getting great feedback about how natural they look and feel! 10/10 would recommend this practice and working with Dr. Weintraub especially. Note: A lot of plastic surgeons will go to great lengths to market themselves, taking out advertisements and promoting their business so it's at the top of search results. I heard about Dr. Weintraub from a friend-of-a-friend and was way more impressed with her than all of the top-billed surgeons I consulted with. She doesn't advertise as much, but honestly she doesn't need to.

Her appointments were 2 months out but it was very easy making an appointment. Since I have Cigna, I only had to my co-pay which was an even sweeter deal. There is plenty of parking at the PAMF location that Dr. Russell has her office. I checked in and she was right on time to see me. She listened to my concerns, what I was looking for etc. and she was very patient the whole time. She was also very frank about what she is currently doing (not face lifts) and suggested some fillers that she heard about that were great. She no longer does fillers either but she went out of her way to get me several names for doctors that will provide that service. She was upfront about whether she thought I need a face lift and recommended products that would work with my skin and my goals. She crossed every t and dotted every i to ensure I had the safest, most successful procedure possible. Dr. Russell is meticulous and a true master of her craft, not just in sculpting and transforming bodies, but in genuinely caring for her patients. Her bedside manner is kind and affirming. She welcomes all my questions--and I have tons of them--and never makes me feel rushed. I consulted with multiple plastic surgeons, but from the moment I met her, I knew she was the one. Her healing protocols are incredibly specific, and at 2.5 weeks post-op, I feel fantastic. I have nothing but positive things to say about my pre-op experience, surgery day, post-op care, and recovery. This is not an easy procedure to bounce back from, but her protocols and detailed instructions have made everything go as smoothly as possible. I'm already planning at least two more procedures with her, and I expect them to go just as well. I complained and was told it was due to the weight of my implants and my asthma!!! It was not!!! I went into cardiac arrest and suffered a pulmonary embolism and almost died!!! I am lucky to be alive and am so incredibly stupid for not suing both of them!!! I was too sweet and too scared of dying and could only think about trying to live, as a single mother, and felt so guilty for having an elective vain surgery, while recovering from my almost life ending traumatic experiences, which took almost a year to recover from!!!! Neither of them could've cared less!!!! They lied from the get go, they tried to cover up the fact that my lungs collapsed, and then they were less than concerned when I complained of trouble breathing just 72 hours after surgery!!!! DO NOT trust your life to this practice!!! You will regret it and you could very well DIE!!!! I am so incredibly grateful and lucky to be alive! 1 in 3 people survive what I have been through, not to mention the trauma of it all and the work isn't even that great. So my first experience was pretty good. I had a consultation with Nicolle who seemed to have…read moreconfidence in laser leg vein treatment. She required that I prepay for my treatment, then canceled my appointment just a few days ahead of time, without explanation. Friday, I went in and was given another nurse with no notice or explanation. I had this procedure done a long time ago and the nurse dimmed the lights, calibrated her laser to just what was required. It didn't hurt and I left with no blisters, holes, scabs or scars. Today, was opposite in nearly every way. It was very painful and I originally had many blisters. The technician said she used the manufacturer recommendations for settings but had to adjust the machine 4 times during my procedure because she said the settings were changing without her input. I did speak to Dr Lowen who assured me that my experience was perfectly normal and there was nothing wrong. My blisters had all popped shortly after my procedure and the first few showers were painful but now that I am covered in 60 plus scabs it's not so bad. I can't shave because of all of the scabs but that's not so bad since it's winter. Moral of the story, this laser will get rid of your veins but it's so powerful it will burn tiny holes into your body every time they pull the trigger.

I was originally scheduled with nurse Hana for Botox but then I was switched to Dr Kelsey Lipman at the last minute after my facial. I am so very grateful that I was! Dr Lipman took her time with me. I felt that she genuinely listened to my concerns and she was patient.(Even though it was already almost 5:00 and I'm sure she wanted to go home). She addressed all my concerns and all of my questions, which were numerous. This was my first time getting Botox and discussing fillers with any doctor. Dr Lipman made me feel very much at ease and made sure I had thorough understanding of everything. She was not pushy at all. She respected the fact that I wanted to have a lighter approach, and she tailored her technique to what I wanted. Dr Lipman really knows what areas to inject. I could tell by her process of telling me how to move my face, and strategically placing the shot, she *really* knows what she's doing. Obviously, Dr. Lipman has a great education but bedside manner is something that cannot be taught- it is intrinsic. Dr Lipman was super kind. When she did the first injection in my glabella, I started hyperventilating and freaked out. I have a needle phobia going back a long time, and I'm diagnosed with panic attack and anxiety disorder. The shot felt weird, since I was not used to it. I freaked out and said, "I can't do this anymore. Please stop!" She immediately stopped and said, "No problem at all, just relax and breathe, you don't have to do anything you don't want to do." Then she smiled and said, "Hey I'll be right back. I have something for you!" So here I am, trying to calm myself down because I just freak out about needles like that. (It stems from massive dental trauma when I was young). I really wanted the Botox though, I wanted that gift for myself. Dr Lipman came back in with a synthetic breast implant! She told me what it was and said ,"Many patients find this is better than a stress ball." Lol I had never seen or felt a breast implant before, so this was already novel and also amusing. She was totally right! It was actually extremely soothing. better than a squish ball to squeeze for stress! LOL so I'm cracking up about squeezing this breast implant and feeling much better about things so I asked her to please continue. She did, and she took her time and reminded me to breathe and told me when to relax. It was great, and totally not painful. Plucking my eyebrows feels worse. She was fabulous, she recommended when I should take breaths in when she's going to do the injections, and the whole procedure moved really fast. Many of the injections were completely painless, this was all my own psychological doing that freaked me out. I I highly recommend Dr Kelsey Lipman for any of your cosmetic needs. She really impressed me with her customer service skills and caring for me as a patient. Due to a personal history of anaphylactic shock, I had some concerns about a potential allergic reaction. Dr Lipman was kind enough to share her cell phone number with me in case of an emergency so I can call her right away!! I really value that service and compassion. This high level of care has been something that's been very rare throughout my medical history. Thanks again Dr Lipman, you are amazing! I look forward to next time.
