Visiting Akiko is one of the few things I let myself splurge on myself for, because it is completely worth it. She's kind, and good company, and of course great at what she does! My facials with her are so relaxing, that the last time I went I fell asleep on her table haha but she didn't care. She always offers you water before and after, but that might just be because I'm perpetually dehydrated and she knows it. Going to Akiko's is like visiting a friend at home but instead of cooking dinner she's giving you a facial! It's a very relaxing environment, no frills but very comfortable. I recently moved to LA and needed to find an esthetician badly. I went to a spot in ktown that was brutal with the extractions. So upon learning that Akiko's extractions were gentle I had to try.
