What's the best way to schedule an appointment? I've read that she's super busy, and I totally get that she doesn't have time to answer her phone, but still, I just want the results everyone is raving about

Hi Sara, I apologize for not getting back to you sooner! Thank you for being patient.. the best way to contact me is through text. :)

She recommends products but it's only one or two products max and it all depends on the stages and current skin routine you have.

Came here after I bought a deal through living social for a laser treatment. Disaster started as…read moreearly as the initial phone call. When trying to make an appt, it always went to the voice mail. I tried various times for 4 days before someone actually called me back. At first, I almost thought this was a scam because the voice mail (when translated in Chinese) seemed unprofessional. Think it was the Dr's father or something. It was incomplete as he paused at the end, lost his thought & hung up before you hear the beep. Who creates voice mails like that? Bad first impression. Second, when I went in for my appt, I thought I stepped into the wrong office because it was just a doctors office. I was confused. Turns out this doctor is an internal medicine doctor who decided to do aesthetics on the side. In my mind, people are usually better at one thing than the other. I really hope she is better on the aesthetics side but then again it would scare me to think she is not a good Dr either. Tried to think positive with benefit of the doubt "at least she is a Dr right, cant be that bad"? Obviously, as a doctors priority, her regular patients were first. So I waited almost an hour before I was seen! Ugh. Third: Finally....my treatment. She was very nice and attentive but seemed a bit rushed. The treatment itself wasnt as bad as I thought. But....here comes the horror. After the treatment, she of course introduced me to her hydroxy product and of course I bought into it. She didnt tell me how strong it was (prescriptive strength) especially when she should've known better after I told her I have very sensitive skin AND she is a DR!! I used it nightly per her orders and my face became a nightmare after 4 days of use!! scaly, patchy skin. Started breaking out with mild infection and some of the dry spots started to scar up my face. I did research on my own and found out I was supposed to use it one a week and slowly increase usage when my face gets acclimated to the product (which she didnt know or tell me). My face went to extreme due to sensitivity which she overlooked even as a Dr. It took me over 5 months for my face to go back to normal with my own self treatment. Dont get me wrong, the laser wasn't too bad and did lighten up my freckles a tiny bit after 1 treatment but the craziness I had here is enough for me to try elsewhere. Not worth it.

I will keep this review very short:…read more 1. You can book an appointment for cosmetics treatment, but not for your primary care medical needs. WTF is this, with the fact that she is a family physician? I bet she likes the wealth of her pockets rather than you as a patient. 2. She yelled at one of her assistants so loudly one day that the patient could hear her derogatory comments. WTH? so professional. 3. Unethical behavior: instead of asking the patients to fill out survey by themselves, she asked those who worked for her to fill out those forms. The reason why I am writing these negative comments is that I also work in medical field. The fact that I knew without reporting them made me liable as well. So there you go. When I first considered getting lip filler, I was so nervous because I didn't know anything about the process. Samantha, being the amazing and caring person she is, answered every single question I had, even before I booked my appointment. She was incredibly informative and made me feel comfortable right from the start. On the day of my appointment, she went above and beyond to reassure me. She made it clear that I could stop at any time if I felt uncomfortable, which really helped ease my nerves. Before starting, she explained everything in detail, and during the injections, she talked me through each step so I always knew what was happening. She also suggested adding a bit of filler to my chin to balance my face, and WOW, she truly knows what she's doing. I've never felt more confident. Samantha isn't afraid to make recommendations, and it's clear she does it because she knows what will look best and deliver amazing results. I'm now two weeks post injection, and they look so even, juicy, and beautiful. I'm absolutely in love with them. What really stands out is her level of care. Samantha has checked in with me every single day after my appointment to make sure I'm doing well, which speaks volumes about how much she genuinely cares about her clients. Thank you, Samantha, for being my go to and for always making me feel beautiful!

It's long- but this is the email I plan to send office management, after a treatment from hell, and…read morea completely unnecessary level of confusion due to intolerant listening (or lack of), confusing unclear communication, and lack of skill (sorry- it's truly not personal). I wanted to be at peace with the lack of satisfaction so bad, but given the specifics, it wouldn't be right to NOT get my money back, and there's no way I'm going back for more- If you know, you know. I hope I can take the review down when they resolve, because I hate doing these (unless it's a very bad service/experience in more ways than one and I just can't justify). "Dear____, I am writing to formally request a refund for the treatment I received at the DTLA location on Sunday, 4/19, with Samantha. My request is based on a significant breach of the communication protocol we established before the procedure and a resulting outcome that is technically and aesthetically poor. Despite my 10-year history as an experienced patient and my clear instructions regarding volume management, the session resulted in a heavy-handed, over-filled, and asymmetrical jaw.The Breakdown in Professional Conduct: Throughout the consultation, Samantha was hyper-focused on a hypothetical concern that I would be "unsatisfied" if the product wasn't "enough." She appeared to dismiss my experience and my reassurance that I have never been dissatisfied with "under-filling." This fixation created a professional blindness; she was so intent on over-delivering volume to prevent a perceived complaint that she ignored the actual protocol we established to protect my results:Failure of Volume Updates: We agreed she would provide real-time updates on remaining product so I could direct the distribution. Instead, she moved forward without my ongoing consent. Waiting till the very end when the choice was "make my face more even" or "more in the nasal fold area I never had the chance to address.....she was so stuck on verbiage, it was almost bizarre. Prior to that you could quantify to: 15/85% Imbalance. And, the worst part (what I came in for making right side more like "good" left side)...Lack of Symmetry: Because Samantha bypassed the volume check-ins, approximately 85% of the product ended up in my jaw (not lower face where meets chin as I had discussed endlessly with her). Furthermore, she over-compensated on my "bad" side to the point where the sides have now "flipped"; the side she gave "more love" to is now visibly overworked compared to the other. Incorrect Placement (Gonial Angle vs. Pre-Jowl Sulcus^): Despite me physically pointing to the areas of concern in my lower face, Samantha went heavy on the Gonial Angle (near the ear). I thought "maybe it's like botox" and it has to go in "places that don't seem direct but connect" (ie upper forehead for eye brow lift etc) - I mean, it's not like I AM THE PROFESIONAL INJECTOR AND SHE IS OR ANYTHING. A more skilled approach for my specific goals would have focused on the Pre-Jowl Sulcus. I wish she talked as much during , as she did prior. Other than telling me about the "crunch" sound and consoling me EVEN THOUGH I HAD SAID NOTHING OR REACTED AT ALL OR COMPLAINED/WINSED - NOTHING ABOUT THIS SOUND BOTHERED ME.Another odd, unnecessary level of communication, in place of what should have been. This indicates a lack of both listening and technical placement skill. Superficial vs. Functional Check-ins : While Samantha briefly used a mirror to ask "if I liked it," she failed to provide the volume warnings we agreed upon. As a patient, I cannot track "needle-seconds"; I rely on the professional to communicate that data. Conclusion and Resolution: I understood going into this that I might want "more" later--that is a risk I explicitly accepted. However, I could not have predicted that a professional would ignore my physical cues and a verbal agreement to the point of creating a result that can only be fixed by further filler or dissolving.Because the professional trust was broken and the outcome is unsatisfactory, I do not feel comfortable returning for adjustments. I am requesting a refund of $425.00 to allow me to seek corrective care elsewhere. I am asking this from a place of integrity and total dissatisfaction.I look forward to your prompt response. PS: I want to be very clear: the issue here is not swelling; it is lack of consent. Even if every ounce of swelling disappears, the product remains in the wrong anatomical locations and at a ratio I never authorized. For a practitioner to communicate so excessively before the procedure--specifically to "cover her butt"--only to go silent and bypass our agreement once the needle was in her hand is uniquely misleading and maddening. The breach occurred the moment she used the product without the volume updates we discussed. That cannot be "waited out." This is not a matter of subjective preference or healing time; it was a failure of professional conduct and skill."

The first thing I want to bring to your attention is HOW MUCH BLIND BOXES there are of various kinds. You've got some for newer popular anime series to older classic favorites, to several miscellaneous but ultra cute original characters (I'm looking at you, Baby3)! Watch out for end of season sales, although I'm not sure how often these happen, but I was in for a treat the last time I visited in mid-February. They had up to 50% off on select items, and they did not disappoint! One final piece of advice, other than if you're trying to avoid the crowd to arrive at opening hours and avoid the lunchtime, is to BYOB! This means bring your own bag (not booze)! Trust me, you'll wanna thank me later. :) I do recommend a bigger tote bag if you have one at home. The store does provide you with bags, but when your haul gets big/heavy, a nice tote will make carrying all those blind boxes A LOT easier. I went to 3 other merchandise stores including a Final Fantasy popup and ended up chucking everything in my one medium to large canvas tote. My palms thanked me for it. I'll include a picture of next haul since I wrote this review later than intended. Happy shopping!

The shop itself is on the smaller side, but they really pack a lot into the space. They carry a little bit of everything from snacks and blind boxes to household items and stationery. There's also a huge selection of Sanrio and anime merchandise, so it's a great place to find cute collectibles or small gifts. Whether you're shopping for yourself or looking for something fun for someone else, chances are you'll walk out with something. The staff has always been friendly during my visits, and while the store can get pretty busy at times, the overall experience is still enjoyable. Prices are fairly decent for the area which is definitely a plus. If you happen to be in Little Tokyo and enjoy browsing cute or quirky shops, I'd definitely recommend stopping by--it's worth the visit!
