The woman that taught was really nice and did a great job teaching my son how to drive (he can parallel park better than me in our dodge 1500). I wanted someone who did not cut corners for the sake of a paycheck. I also wanted someone who would gladly invite myself or my husband into the class and on the drives. I desired someone who was trustworthy and moral. My driver instructor smelled of alcohol when I took the class years ago. I wanted someone who understands who the parents are and are equally respectful of that. Mostly I wanted someone that would take this seriously and really teach my child all she needed to learn to be a successful driver. And my expectations were more then met. I live in the sticks and have to drive over an hour to get here. But it is worth it!! I hear what our local kids get out of drivers training. It's usually not very good. More of a distracted course where they learn very little and don't even see a highway. At this academy Chris does a great job. I've referred her to my homeschool and non-homeschool friends and family members. She met all my crazy criteria and then some. She is a very kind hearted lady. And she takes her responsibilities very seriously. No corners cut. She understands if she misses something, she has to live with that. I will be back in a year with my next child. Already have 3 others planning on attending with me. She is great!! I highly recommend Chris!!

Segment one is two hours everyday Monday-Thursday for three weeks and you schedule six drive times with the instructor. When I first drove with the instructor I was nervous for that also as I didn't know how they'd react. The instructors had good criticism and portrayed it in a calm manner, which made me feel better about driving. I'm only a week into Segment One and I feel pretty confident about my driving skills. The only reason this place doesn't have five stars is because two hours can be a little boring (which is why I'm thankful there's a 15-20 minute break in the middle of class).

According to the instructor, she passed the clinical exam with ease, but they refused to continue with her exam after learning the controls in her van were different than the ones in their vehicle. This should have been the first question asked when she called to schedule the appointment. The instructor does not have the common sense or experience to make proper decisions and this facility is not at all equipped to train or evaluate anyone with a disability. they should disclose their lack of knowledge, ability and reasoning BEFORE taking anyones money.

I really enjoyed my lessons with him, and could not believe how quickly I developed confidence as a driver (I am 36 and had never driven before- either in the US or overseas, so I was starting from scratch). In just over a month, I felt prepared to take the road test. I actually began my lessons with another driving school, but left that school as the instructor was inattentive and unprofessional (talking/texting on his phone for most of the lesson, scheduling lessons with other students in the middle of my lesson). The behavior of the previous instructor made me extremely tense and apprehensive about what is a pretty daunting endeavor. On the other hand, when I began lessons with Ron I started to enjoy the process...which is how it should be! I also felt that he actually enjoyed teaching, which made me look forward to my lessons and made it easier to forget whatever stress I had before getting into the car with him. I also found it really convenient that Ron offers 1-hour lessons (most schools only offer 2)...that way I could take shorter lessons more frequently, and I think this was critical for me in terms of becoming more comfortable with the whole process (two hours seems like it will expedite the process but, when you are a beginner, the process is a bit overwhelming (you on edge the entire lesson, which takes a toll on the nerves) and, personally, I just wasn't able to cope with two 2-hour lessons a week. In my opinion, the shorter lessons spaced closer together were key to my success. I would highly recommend Ron if you want to not only become a great driver, but also enjoy the process.
