History
Established in 2022.
AK Dryer Vent Solutions was founded in 2022 to address a problem commonly overlooked in Alaska homes and buildings: restricted dryer exhaust airflow. Long vent runs, cold weather, heavy appliance use, and improper installations increase fire risk and reduce efficiency when vents are not properly maintained.
As a veteran-owned company based in Anchorage, we focus exclusively on dryer exhaust systems rather than general HVAC or air duct cleaning. Our work is guided by national safety standards and a technical, inspection-first approach. We serve homeowners, property managers, and commercial clients who need clear answers, documented findings, and verified results—not guesswork.
Since opening, we’ve worked with single-family homes, multi-unit properties, HOAs, and businesses across Anchorage and surrounding areas. Our goal has remained consistent: reduce uncertainty, improve airflow, and help clients prevent dryer-related safety and performance issues before they become costly problems.
Meet the Business Owner: Tyler M.
Tyler M. founded AK Dryer Vent Solutions in 2022 with a technical, inspection-first approach to dryer exhaust safety. He is a Certified Dryer Exhaust Technician (CDET) and an Army veteran with a background in HVAC-related military training and mechanical systems.
Prior to starting the company, Tyler worked in residential service and installation roles, including appliance delivery and custom installation for kitchens and laundry systems. This hands-on experience shaped a practical understanding of airflow design, material selection, and common failure points in dryer vent systems.
Tyler believes clients deserve clear explanations and verified results. Each service begins with inspection and proceeds based on actual system conditions—not assumptions or upselling. The goal is accuracy, safety, and long-term reliability, especially in homes and multi-unit buildings where airflow issues are often hidden.
