When I first arrived to the city the no direction of where to find anything AJ's help me and my kiddo's back in track with either purchasing their products in their jewelry section or having a need with some type of electronic devices or equipment . AJ's is hands down the best store to go to . Lluvia is the sweetest soft toned understanding worker and Wayne is a walking talking human guide to the city. This is not just a store they are your neighbors . Thanks for the many years of service you truly value your customers. FYI I highly recommend when buying gold chains come here first they always work with you and the prices can't be beat . read more

If you're looking to pawn, this is your place! We have gone into this shop twice. The first time we were helped by a gentleman. He was kind, thorough, and gave us a fair price. We picked up our items within a week or two and everything went flawlessly. Today, we had to go in for another pawn. The woman helping was so kind. Gave us fair prices with low interest. *Side note: before coming for our second time we did try another local pawn shop, they offered about half of what AJ's offered. So, before you acept less of what you believe you should receive - give AJ's a try first. read more

Everyone here is amazing except the lady, she's rude at times and unable to understand simple questions. She rushes you as if she has better things todo. She underpay on expensive items and is very uneducated when it comes to jewelry. It has been 2 times when her co-worker had to step in to assist on a pawn because she simply didn't know or didn't care about the customer. At the big age of 45-50 years old you'll think she would of learned something by now.biz4 read more

Don't come here be cautious they are thieves. Value your items. They have outrageous fees. Customer service is horrible. They are very rude

They sold me a faulty speaker that fell apart and that had a blown speaker and they will not take it back or refund me my money and the service was poor. read more

I have bought several tools from Wayne. He has always given me amazing prices, even if I don't ask him for a discount. I don't know the names of the employees, but they all have outstanding customer service. Great variety of tools. I see the bad reviews are from people trying to pawn their items. Therefore, I can not speak on that matter. However, as a buyer, I always walk out happy and wanting to come back. read more

I went in like multiple times this month to return items and they never accept anything . The customer service is so horrible and the misleading information aswell . I don't consider you going here because they probably won't pawn anything you bring in it's not worth it here I hope they get shut down! read more

Dealing with them is like dealing with lawyers or car salesmen - you know you're getting screwed .

I absolutely LOVE these guys- Wayne and Victor are my go to guys whenever I'm looking for a deal. Weather I'm looking for a new bag (all certified and authentic) or jewelry, they always come through! I never have to worry about being taken for because they are always honest and have always given me impeccable service I couldn't imagine taking my business elsewhere. read more

I've used this place before and never had problems getting loans for gold or silver bullion in the past. I went there this past week with some silver bullion and even silver coins ( 5 ounce coins) only to be told they would have to drill through them to make sure it was real silver. These people didn't even have the right equipment to check it but there are other methods they could have used to make sure it was real silver other than drilling into a numismatic coin. They could have used a scale for one to make sure it weighed the right amount in troy ounces but didn't even offer that. How do you have a pawn shop that takes gold and silver but you don't have the proper electronics to test said precious metals? They have a diamond tester but nothing for gold and silver? I brought in reputable silver bars and coins that ANY silver bug would know but some how these dopes couldn't even distinguish the pour lines/brand/stamped .999/weight etc. The employee that first saw my silver didn't even know what it was so she called the manager who is normally there only to be told " I don't know about these" "We would have to drill through them" I immediately said "REALLY" and he said yes. I was literally dumb founded as I've never known anyone or pawn shop that didn't have the proper equipment to test precious metals. They offered me over the phone $8 per troy ounce (12/19/2020). That's not even half of what silver was at time of going over there which was $26.71 per troy ounce spot price. I'll never come back to this sh!thole pawn shop nor will I advise anyone to go there. Their other pawn shop in Pomona wanted to do the same. Take your silver and gold else where. I world of advice to AJ's Pawn, GET THE PROPER EQUIPMENT TO TEST PRECIOUS METALS you morons! P.S. They don't even follow covid guidlines. read more

My family and I spent a day going to different pawn shops because my ten year old has recently started collecting old coins and we thought our local pawn stores might have some for him to add to his collection. A.J's was the only pawn store (out of many we went to) that greeted us and made us feel like welcome customers. They had a great selection of items, but it was the friendly customer service that will have us going back and recommending to others! read more

I love this place but today they did me dirty after 25years coming here off and on. No matter where you go these days returning customers who have a great record and always paid on time and early who show good will and trust doesn't go far in these types of establishments. Very sad. read more

scored an awesome guitar couldn't believe they gave me such a good deal on it. ask for Wayne he's the man he will take care of you.

Started coming here 2 years ago.. I've been to many pawnshops in the past but this one is in the top 3 on my list!! I usually go to Central mega pawn but decided to see what they would loan me for my MacBook. When I asked for the amount the other shop usually loans me she told me I wouldn't get that much and I would get $100 less than what I do with Mega Pawn. Always get a second opinion :) read more

Super nice people here! Good selection. The only reason it's not 5 star is they tried to trick me out of my $500 iPad. They tried to buy it for $80 when the shop next door offered be $250. Always get a second opinion! read more

AJs deserves 5 stars for the following reasons; Outstanding customer service, Victor and Enrique knew exactly what I was looking for, both gentleman are extremely knowledgeable, they both answered all my questions, they knew exactly what they were selling me, and most importantly I walked out with a new mountain bike for a great price !! Outstanding customer service, store is nice and clean, and well organize! Ladies, you can find yourself a nice jewelry set, or simply buy some new tools for your boyfriend/husband. Nice TVs, video games, and so much more. Everyone needs to check out AJs!!! Thanks guys, I'm stoked with my new bike!!! I will definitely be coming back ! read more

Seemed overpriced to me. They had an Alvarez DY70 Acoustic guitar priced at $1200. I cannot find any online that have ever sold at that price. The 5 or 6 online that have sold were all at $750, $650, $400. There were a couple of items that were like that. Be careful, you could really over pay for something here. Employees were constantly taking off their masks for no reason. Should be more professional. They seemed nice, but should do a better job. read more

Great staff. Ty for always helping me. Ive been going to them for years. Thank you Wayne & the rest of the staff

Worse pawn shop ever! They stole my mom diamonds out here heart necklace and replaced them with cloudy greenish looking material that can not be passed off as diamonds! My mon is dead now and this is all I have legt of hers and they stole from her! read more

Great inventory on hand, and the staff is awesome, friendly and willing to work with you. Highly recommend this pawn shop!

This is hands down the best shop I have ever been to. The location, the staff and the customer service is beyond top rate. Wayne and the rest of the team always make sure to take their time and explain anything and everything to me when I come in to sell or buy. AJ's will always have my business. read more

Best pawn shop around. They have the longest loan times and they're only concerned with helping you out during tough times. They're not like some other shops working against you so they can claim your items. If you're in some financial trouble check these guys out. read more

Yeah I don't know about this place. They most definitely want you to bring your stuff. They also don't wanna lend you money! Lowball is what you'll be when you leave. This is a pawn shop that's not in the business of lending money. Don't waste your time. Down the street is a place called pawn stars. The Hubby/Wife team in there will do you right. You won't feel like a piece of crap when you leave cuz they told you your 24k necklaces that you sacrificed to earn is worth 20 bucks! But you bet your ass they'll sell it for $900! Be warned! Low-ball-ers-!!! Any other pawn shop is better and respectful! Pomona pawn, there's a straight up shop! Asses tried to tell me my 120 year old silver dollars were metallic and fake! Then offer me penny weight. Scum bag, cross-eyed, mouth breathing nerd! I'm talking about you manager guy! read more

They always try to cheap it out never come here the people working there are slow and they laugh at what you bring in the also don't let them check out your jewelry or let them take it to the back they'll try and replace the diamonds with other junk read more

I walked in to pay my sons interest and walked right out when an older gentleman was coughing and went to the back and I could hear him sneezing. My suggestion is as a customer of many years, is it possible to pay interest online only? With so much going on I'm even surprised that you all are risking your health and staying open. I pray you all stay safe. read more

I really don't like going into pawn shops, they make you feel some type of way when you walk in. So after looking at all the good reviews here on Yelp I decided to give AJ's a shot and I am glad I did. Victor was really nice, he went over and beyond to give me a good deal on my merchandise. Did not low ball me! I recommend AJ's for your pawning and buying needs. read more
