After purchasing numerous items here in the past, I was looking to transfer a firearm to a family member. Since this location is also a FFL, i figured this would be a good spot. I went in and was met by Cristal. I explained I had a PPT, and she stated she would process it, but that they normally did them via appointment. Only certain people can do them, and if they are on a day off they can't be done. Makes sense. She was able to assist my family member in taking the FSC test again, as their card had expired. After passing the test, Cristal processed the transaction in a timely fashion and we were outta there. My family member now has to wait the 10 days before they can go pick up the item. Thanks for going out of your way to help us Cristal. Please tell your manager I appreciate your hard work, dedication, and knowledge of the firearm transfer process. read more

I came in looking for a digital camera and Nemesis helped me out. She was so patient and took the time to walk me through all of my options without rushing me at all. The store was super clean and welcoming, and the whole experience felt easy and stress-free. I'm so happy with my new camera and will definitely be back! read more

I buy most of my guns from this shop. In my experience the staff is always genuinely pleasant to deal with. They have a pretty great selection on guns, sometimes you'll get lucky and find a rare one. They also have sales often which makes its it easier to pull the trigger (boom gun pun). The only thing this place is missing is ammo! Otherwise a great all around pawn shop. read more

I've never done business here but I give them much praise, Nemesis is the one that worked with me and she was the most legit pawn shop employee I've ever come across and I never leave reviews but she deserves all the blessings coming her way. If I could authorize it I'd give her a nice raise, THANK YOU read more

Lisa was very helpful and it was fast! Would come back and recommend for you selling/pawning needs:)

Lisa provided excellent customer service. She was very personable and friendly. Would definitely recommend to go and pawn/sale items there.

Came in for a loan Paola helped me out 5 stars great customer service everyone should come in anytime they're in need for a loan!

Came in with some coins to sell and Angel assisted me and was great. Explained how they come to the amount that they offer, that you will not get what Google says the coins or item are valued at but what past sale amounts have actually been. Very nice and professional and very fair with the offer. I would definitely come back and do more business with them! read more

This place always has good stuff!!! Anthony was a great help with positive energy! Made everything nice and smooth. He was super helpful!

Went today to central mega pawn looking to spend money, but the manager here gives off weird energy and just stares at people and doesn't even greet you when you walk in, he makes comments of his own employees and just makes them feel dumb... this makes it a weird atmosphere for me... I didn't want to be in the store anymore because of the energy. I was gonna buy this Louis Vuitton duffel bag, but I rather take my business elsewhere where I feel more appreciate as a customer and less awkward.. I really liked this duffle bag also. read more

Central Mega Pawn - Nice piece horrible MANAGER!! - Pawn Shops Near Me - Ontario, California

Don't waste your time coming. I wouldn't visit this pawn shop again after the experience I had here. The lack of customer service when I entered--no greeting, no offer to help, just an overall unwelcoming vibe. When I finally asked for assistance, the manly-looking female employee gave me a rude, snarky remark instead of just answering my question. , I'd rather take my business elsewhere. Honestly, you're better off going to Goodwill. At least there, you won't get attitude for simply asking for help. read more

I am just writing this review in hopes that the New GM will see this review and correct his employee at the sister shop called Azusa Mega Pawn! Employee Phil is super rude and hateful to customers and acts like he does not need to help customers out in line he acts like we are all below him. I have done business with central over 10 years and Azusa 5 years i know the former Owner Scott and his sons i know his sister and brother used to run Azusa Pawn so i like to think i am a great customer over the years. I recently bought a rifle at Azusa went to pickup was told it's not their fault they lost my rifle bag and magazines and that they do not need to replace anything that's missing upon pickup i was given a cheap rifle bag and was told be happy we gave you something for nothing no magazines or store credit was issued only attitude from Phil. I have seen him treat his coworkers like garbage and still has gainful employment. Now the new GM Desmond needs to step in and do something as this is horrible customer service and i have to say Desmond has changed both shops from looking like old rags to a pretty open floor plan and bright inside vs looking dirty and dull. I will say until something changes at Azusa with attitude do not shop do not spend a dime as they know we are usually down on our luck when we come in so no need to treat us like crap just because you can. On a bigger note i must say i love workers like Nemesis as she came in today and clocked in went straight to work helping customers not waiting around and loafing around also she gets strait to point when giving loan prices or buy prices she is usually around 30-50 percent of items value obviously depending on items value and how many in stock they have. I will say Desmond needs to whip the online and app guy or girl into shape as they are missing out on Gunbroker sales and the app is not updated so thats double revenue loss and i must say Central has a great collection of firearms thats not posted online or on the app. One recommendation i would like to see is a gun only line for customers who want to buy and Dros firearms separate from pawn customers as firearm transactions take place 15 mins 30 mins minimum per customer. Just to throw it out there Javi i do believe helped me with a gun purchase is a great attitude guy and very pleasant to deal with. Manager Chris is a cool dude very strict and to the point which is needed sometimes. Thanks to Nemesis, Javi, Chris! read more

The CEO is unpredictable, unprofessional, and disrespectful I came in with a watch they normally reference eBay for price. The ceo tells me we don't do that anymore and began to get loud and ignorant the entire store is listening and watching he got all hyped up because I'm asking questions on how they determine the buying price. If you want respect and a fair price for your items without being in a verbal conflict based on a normal question please take your business to a more professional pawn shop. This review is not to take away from some of the other employees there who are pleasant to work with but for the arrogant "CEO" that kept reminding me he was a ceo !!!!!! Its really the end of an era for me I've been coming here for years buying and selling and today i realized that this is a business on the decline, I mean by the way you are treating your customers you won't have a business to be CEO of if this behavior persists. No wonder the employee turnover rate is so high!!!!!!!!! There are 675 Pawn shops in California as of January 23, 2025 take your business to any other pawnshop besides this one there's plenty more to choose from. read more

They are a very nice looking location with great selections but the "VP" or at least that's what He claimed he was, he makes feel people aren't wort it. I witness how they treat people and they treat them very poorly. It's the third time I come here to make business with them. The employee's seem very nice but the one guy who claims to be the Vice president denies service to people and discriminates them just because he feels like denying them service because he feels like it. I came here to buy a video game which I did. Just when I was looking around for some pieces I would like to buy, I asked the girl, how much she would offer for 2 pair of Gold Earrings I don't wear at all. In order for me to buy the other pieces I saw that I would like to buy including a gun. However, the guy kept coming and with a horrible attitude telling the girl negative things about me. Saying the how do I think I was throwing in the air "Some people think are the boss" First of all, I asked him the following question. Are you the owner? he said not he was the "VP" Well, I guess he will find out. Then as I was writing the review he tried to kick me out telling me that he has a problem with me trying to kick me out. I video tape him. He threaten me to call the police on me. I asked him to do not get near me and I was asking for the owner. hopefully, the owner gets in contact with me. Their costumer service is not good when it comes for business. read more

I just bought a ps5 for $425, I thought that for the price they were selling me a used item, but upon inspection and value when I got home I saw that it was old and dirty and guess what, it turns off after playing for 10 minutes it's frustrating because It was a legal robbery but I hope this post help new customers don't trust to the loyalty of this business to their customers read more

Second bad experience with this pawn shop , I called yesterday march 13 around pm 3 and this dude answers the phone like half asleep , I asked him how much are you buying or paying for 14 kt gram gold ... he pauses and says depending on the gold..... I just told him it's 14 kt Gold he said he buys it for $25 , I tell him that's very low and he goes well if you bring it we can take a look at the gold and maybe you give you a better offer , what does looking at a piece of Gold change the price or worth on it ? Lol simply garbage incompetent and ignorant service here !! I tried to give you a second chance and owner don't reply by saying ok you were training a new person because I heard this bs many times in many pawn shops ! Best of luck They trying to but my iPad Pro 12.9 M2 chip 512 gb for $ 400??? But they have the exact same item for sale new for $1200 so NOTICE ITS $800 ! Difference $ they will steal from you and how much they will make on every device they sell !! Great crooks !!! Check Photo read more

I take my good review back that these clowns pretty much forced me to write as they took my phone and commenced to review themselves at the time I didn't mind because the service was excellent but in the past year this place has gone down the drain they purposely make you lose your loans and you are not given any opportunities to save your items .. before they would look out for you.. no wonder 85% of the original staff quit! read more
