For only eleven euros you get to choose a main dish and two side dishes; I choose​ their raw fish mix over a bed of white rice. It looked very Japanese, but it did not taste Japanese. (I have been to a lot of Japanese restaurants and supermarkets where food is produced by Japanese people and this is my point of reference.) This visually appealing dish prepared by Nikki Sushi had fresh mint in it which in my experience is a Meditteranean touch, but not a Japanese touch. The sushi rice was lacking the sweet and sour flavor of Japanese rice vinegar. Similarly, the cucumber salad, which had a creamy dressing, was not made with Japanese mayonnaise​ which tends to be sweet. Instead, the cucumber salad tasted flat​ but fresh. While I appreciate​ that the decor appears to be authentic, complete with a Samurai's chest gear, the food lacks the same authenticity.

Unfortunately, all the Yelp reviews were in French, so we didn't bother to really study them and see what people had to say. This restaurant is vastly overpriced and the cuisine is pure Japanese without any variations or attempts to blend a European cuisine in to it. The food is extremely ordinary and if you come from a major city anywhere in the world, you've most likely experienced much better Japanese food at the same price if not much lower. My only conclusion would be that the people who provided the previous ratings have no true idea about Japanese cuisine, or are trying to convince themselves that they experienced something novel.
