The London Location gave me a set price over the phone, had my appointment booked in right away and they were very friendly and helpful in explaining the process. The guys were here on time (5 minutes early) for the appointment and were incredibly professional. They cleared probably 10 years of gunk from my furnace and ducts and I could hear what was coming out from under the floor boards there was so much! They took their time to make sure it was spic and span even though I could tell this was more than a 'normal job' would entail having obviously not been done in many many years. A big plus for me was that they used an all natural disinfectant in the ducts afterwards made of Thyme and other essential oils that kill mould and mildew, my place smells amazing and I feel great knowing it is really clean. A HUGE thank you to the staff at Ontario Duct Cleaning.

I sent out a request and got about 20 responses and despite not having any reviews Mark from The Duct Cleaning Pro was by for the most professional and realistic in his response. Aside from his response, what sold me was the time and effort he took to complete his business profile and his large number of before and after pictures to show the quality of his work. He had no (recommended) reviews before me writing this one, but he did have three sterling 5 star reviews in the not-recommended filter which I read and assessed that these were valid and likely just not being recommended because the user had no other reviews of profile pictures. They all raved about his service and willingness to take time and explain the entire process to ensure you as a consumer were educated with what was going on here. All this ended up to be 100% TRUE. I received an array of quotes from $99 to $500 for our small home, but Mark sent his entire rate card broken up by home size, price and included services. I could have gone with his cheapest package but in the end I went with Silver which covered a home of about 2000 sq ft. This was a tight turn around job as we had our new home cleaned and the cleaners advised us that the ducts were so bad they were pulling piles of dog hair out - not good when you have a young toddler sleeping and breathing in what could be 15 years of dirt and grime. Mark got back to me quickly after a quick dialogue via Yelp private messages and made some arrangements to be here the next day. Mark and his partner Lissan arrived on time and were extremely professional and courteous in their work. They explained every step in the process and even showed me how a past "scam" duct cleaner had come in and only cleaned the blower ducts and not the returns and also cut massive holes in the ducts without properly sealing them back up. Most impressive was he caught a leak that was pretty severe in our HVAC system brought on by the traps being blocked by debris. He only charged a bit extra to have it fully cleaned out and repaired the mess ups of the prior vendor. They vacuumed every vent and return and then used high pressure blowers to force everything down to the vacuums below. The finished by cleansing the entire system with a delightful lemon and Thyme disinfectant - our house went from smelling of old dog hair to totally fresh! The businesses in this category do not have a lot of reviews so it's hard to choose whom to go with, plus if you're like me and get about 50 calls a month from someone pushing duct cleaning, you want to avoid getting ducts cleaned all together. Mark was a true professional, super nice and when he found out I liked Jamaican food even offered to make some for me some time - whattaguy eh?! IF you read no other review, read this and go with Mark. He will come to you no matter where you are in Toronto or the GTA! Thanks Mark!
