Severely food poisoned.
Aitana is a beautiful restaurant. The space is well designed, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff seems attentive. Which makes what happened to me all the more shocking and disappointing.
I visited recently and when I was deciding what to order, the server pushed me very hard toward the ribeye with rice, which also happened to be the most expensive item on the menu. I was uncertain and mentioned a few other options but they kept steering me back to that specific dish with unusual persistence. I ordered it.

When a restaurant steers you that insistently toward a single item and you end up hospitalized-level sick, you cannot help but wonder whether that food should have been served at all.
