I still wanted her to get used to a school setting, socializing and keep her learning. So I decided to give Happy Hours a shot. After meeting with Helene and Christine , getting a tour of the place, meeting the teachers, and being reassured that she would be fine there I decided to go ahead and register her. Best decision I made!!! All there teachers were kind, loving, understanding, kept me updated with her daily activities even go as far as to send you pics throughout the day. My daughter has gained so much from learning and building friendships, being prepared for kindergarten ,And most importantly she LOVES her teacher!!! I am more than satisfied. My daughter has been going to Cinnamon Tree since she was 8 weeks old. She is now 16 months old,…read moreand we just love it here. Cinnamon Tree is set up great. There is a separate room for Infant, Toddler I, toddler II, and upstairs is more of the actual teaching of the preschool age. I love the infant room teachers. My daughter does not like alot of people, but is so happy when we get to daycare. The infant room has cribs for each infant, not sharing one. Plenty of highchairs, a separate room for diaper changes and a cubby for each child's diapers and clothes. Kathy and Gloria are the current infant room teachers and Barbara in the afternoon and they are just wonderful with the kids. It is priced at about $630 a month for 3 days. I do not know how much it is for full time, but you can guestimate. They have their pay schedule set up to be due in full in the beginning of each month, not paying at the end of each week.

This daycare is by far one of the most excellent (if not the most excellent) home-based daycare…read more centers in the area. Alicia, who runs this small, intimate daycare, is so wonderful with all of the children, and she very quickly became a beloved member of our family. My daughter instantly warmed up to her when we came by to check out her house, the rooms, etc., and felt right at home. My daughter has been going here two days a week for almost a year now, and Alicia has always been absolutely fantastic. Her rates are fabulous, and she is one of the few that offers drop-in daycare services, flexible drop-off/pick-up times (e.g., we drop my daughter off at 11:30 one day a week, and sometimes it is a little earlier or later with no issue), and incredibly fair and competitive rates. This daycare is also licensed by the state of NY (which was very important to me) and Alicia was incredibly friendly and welcoming when I first called her last June with a 12 month old. (if you have an under 2 and you are looking for daycare, you will know why this is important. Many others in the nearby area were very rude and/or unwelcoming when I said I had an infant!) This facility has never had any violations, which is also incredibly important. All in all, I highly recommend - she is really a fantastic daycare provider, and makes it seem like it's just one of the family watching her. I couldn't be more grateful that we found this place!

We actually communicated our intentions to move our children to the Director, and she promptly sent us a ridiculous letter accusing us of spreading mistruths and informing us that we would not be able to continue to receive care until the date when we would be admitted to our next day-care. Who does this? We had not spoken any untruths. We had simply informed one family of a situation that impacted them directly. And we were told not to return to the day-care. This created a huge crisis for us requiring grandparents to fly to our rescue. I cannot explain nor excuse the extremely callous and unprofessional actions of this daycare! We are so grateful to have moved our children to Bright Horizons!
