They visited the site promptly and provided a quote. Not only was the quality of the work excellent, but the way they kept the area clean while working was also commendable; they cleared away all the debris once the job was done. The price was very reasonable, too. If anyone is looking for a good contractor, I would definitely recommend them.

I had Twin State and another company come out and give me an estimate and plan. Twin States proposal was a far better plan and for the money made much more sense. We are so pleased with everything! My basement is dry and usable! From start to finish this was the best experience working with a contractor we have ever had! I was seeking a propane stove for my new home which was completed at the end of December, 2023…read more Despite being a busy time of year for any company dealing with heating, Sueann got back to me immediately and helped me select a unit that would fit my needs and considerations. Blazing Design has their own installation and service team, and they have a good track record of properly servicing units they sell for their customers. My experience falls in line with what I have heard from others. Installation was prompt. Despite being during a busy season, they were able to schedule me - somewhat on the fringe of their service area, mind you - right after the holidays. They were very communicative about scheduling, and confirmed with me as my appointment approached. Installation was flawless. They took great care making sure that the installation location was precise, and unobtrusive. Phil and Ryan triple checked house plans and reference photos prior to making any holes for venting. Measured thrice, and cut once. Not all went without a hitch. My propane lines were, apparently, not hooked up to my propane tank, which precluded our ability to finish installation on that day. Sueann was quick to schedule a follow-up with me immediately after I had that issue resolved, and they were even able to show up a day earlier, because of an opening in availability while being in the area. I appreciated that immensely. If you're shopping around for a stove, you're probably looking at the same places in this area of the state as I was, and dreading doing business. Some have a history of lawsuits (yes, really), and others have a less than stellar reputation with being helpful to customers. Finding Blazing Design was a huge relief to me. My experience is a masterclass on how to acquire and retain a loyal customer.

It's a lovely little house and in very good condition, but old homes don't often meet today's high standards for insulation, etc. and I was curious to find out what my options were. It took a little while before they had free time for the audit, but in my estimation, if they're busy doing work for others that's a good thing. Dave and his partner did an amazingly thorough audit. Well surpassing anything I expected and turned around the report to meet my tight schedule. In fact, they uncovered things that I did not know about based on a previous inspection. Because it was a rainy day they were able to find a spot in the attic where things were leaking. Also they found some moisture damage I wasn't aware of on my second floor. Their report was extremely thorough containing photos and charts. And it came along with a 3-tiered recommendation list which was extremely helpful to me. I just got off the phone with Jacob who walked me through the report and the recommendation list. He was patient and comprehensive and agreed to coordinate with some of the other contractors I have met with to figure out the best solutions for me. New Frameworks does more than energy auditing. The do new build and renovations along with more offerings. They care about energy efficiency and it shows. Easy to work with. Very helpful and good customer service. Had I known what I do now I would have used them before buying the home to be completely educated. In fact, I think anyone buying an old home should have an energy audit from these guys/gals BEFORE purchasing as a condition of moving forward in the contract. I would have still bought the house but I would have known even more about it and that's never a bad thing. Highly recommend. And if you work with Efficiency Vermont (you're in their customer area) you get a $100 rebate on the cost of the audit, which is already well worth it based on what I now understand.
