AirLot Parking - I am not sure it's a corporate company who owns chain of parking lots or stand alone. Obvious reasons to select this for the most competitive price it offers for long term parking and my overall experience was good. Honestly when I came to park it looked over crowded with cars , and people working their looked unorganized coz I saw customers couldn't locate their car and one couldn't find key etc etc Therefore during return of my international trip I was worried specially when I read lot of negative reviews in google. My overall experience was good neither my car was damaged and they provided shuttle service on time. Here is my tip / approach I took. I send text to the parking lot person 24 hrs before arrival with picture of the car / plate numbers. And I again texted them when I landed. When i arrived to the airport i called the van who is supposed to pick you up and bring you to your car. We booked this company with the Way app. Price was quoted as $55 for the week. Our credit card was charged $70. Upon arrival, we were charged another $50 (cash only) because we had a truck. There is nobody here and hundreds of cars with their doors unlocked. The reason I am sitting here is because they somehow managed to Lock my keys in the car. When we dropped off the car a week ago, the attended made me get back in the car and park it myself because he couldn't drive stick. He made me park it right by the entrance. Now a week later, my rear view mirror is pushed in and damaged. The owner of the company refused to speak to me and his employees told me I was on my own to sort it out. The worst part is that my car was damaged - clearly they swiped a white car. Park somewhere else, anywhere but AirLot JFK. Wish I had checked the Yelp reviews before booking. Yep, this is the worst, most unprofessional "business" you will probably ever encounter. Starting with the only positive thing I can say: they did not wreck our car. Drop off... despite the fact that I had prepaid and given my car make and model, I got hit up with the oversize charge. Be aware, they take cash only at the location, no credit cards. I had that covered but another guy who took the [unmarked] shuttle with us didn't. So, after waiting 30 minutes for the lone shuttle, we had to wait another 10 minutes while the guy ran into the nearby Hilton to get cash from the ATM. Allow an hour to be safe to drop off car and get to your terminal. Return pickup... I had planned to find another, backup means of transportation from the terminal to the parking lot but I called anyway and reached the driver. "10 minutes", meet me at the pickup point. So I waited and called him again 25 minutes later: "Where are you?" ... "Just be patient, I am on my way". This went on and on. "I am approaching your terminal now..." Guess what? It was 55 minutes before he pulled up. When I challenged him on this... how could he say "10" minutes and then take nearly an hour, he told me the office summoned him after that call to pick up waiting customers there. Had he told me what the deal was on the 2nd or 3rd call, I would have made my way there another way. The scene back at the parking lot was beyond confused and helter skelter. Everyone (new customers, picking up customers) were furious. The new cars entering blocked the only lane for exit and entry and prospects for getting out of there in a timely manner were looking dim. But I pushed hard to find my car, pull it out and position it to exit and get the attendants to move the entering cars back out onto the street since there was no place to put them in the lot. All told, it took 1.5 hours to get our car and we were the lucky ones. There were people whose cars were still packed in the back and I can only imagine how long it took before they were out of there. The worst case, a nightmare, was a woman on our shuttle. There was no space for her car when she came to drop off so they told her to take it to another lot. This was Saturday around 5pm and the other lot, run by another business, was CLOSED for the day, all locked up and stuffed with cars (we passed it along the way). No idea what happened but if it had been us (wife with bad knee and cane, two kids, travelling 12 hours from Europe), I do not even want to say what my response might have been. So, there it is. This lot is the furthest from a professional long term parking lot you can find. The lot is a disgrace, it is literally just a dirt lot with cars crammed into it. Arriving there was a disappointment, especially considering I was rushed to fill out the paperwork in my car, herded out of the car to get my luggage in the shuttle and told to leave my keys in the car and get in the shuttle. Readers- my car was still in the middle of the street, not even pulled into the lot because there were 3 cars waiting to get in. It took 40 minutes for the shuttle to come (this is at 2am and they had no other passangers), and as other readers stated when I asked where I should meet them- I was told look for a white van. Seriously, that's the best instructions for pickup at JFK?! Their security is a joke- I picked my car up at 2am with the gate to the lot wide open and just one guy sitting in a minivan in front of the entrance. This may not seem like a big deal until I realized when the guy was searching for my car, (yes he had no idea where it was) that they leave all of the cars UNLOCKED WITH THE KEYS IN THEM. My car was parked here 12/31/2016 till 1/5 of the following week while on a travel deal via JFK airport 4-5 hours from our home state. Looked sketchy to drop it off in random residential looking neighborhood with some 15 foot alumnium sheets protecting it but I figured okay. I was told in the van on the way home from the airport that someone across the street had thrown bottles into their lot and broke mine and another person's auto glass(rear wind shield for me). To add insult to injury, that had happened on New Year's Eve according to their estimates. They did not put a tarp or tape a trash bag or even try to repair the damage. It just sat there in the freezing cold rain and snow for 5 days. I did not get an email or a phone call. Upon getting the rear windshield fix, the ice collected in the speakers began to shake loose. The seats showed the wet moisture that had been frozen inside of them. Needless to say this is at least $500-1000 of damage. My girlfriend and I had to drive home with no back window for 4 hours in the snow, as they did not offer to put us up in a hotel, pay for a rental car and/or have our car fixed/delivered. They gave me a number to call to get it fixed and according to their insurance company, they do not carry comprehensive and I'm been awaiting a return call from the owner for the past 20 days. I was not refunded my money for the long term fee nor the damage to my rear windshield, speakers and damaged seats. I do think these people have the capacity to remedy this and be a decent lot for others but I have not been made whole yet and I wish i had seen these other reviews :( read more

DO NOT PARK HERE!!! If you google the address you will actually find an article stating how awful awful this business is (wish I knew about it before I parked here)- they should legit be shut down by the authorities for all the shady and questionable illegal activity (asking customers to move other people's cars, using another car to jump mine, going into my trunk without permission). This was the biggest debacle of our entire trip and I would not wish this experience on my worst enemy. This place is run by rude, incompetent people who do not even speak English very well. When we arrived we were told the original lot was full and we had to wait for the shuttle to follow to a different off-site lot and then go to the airport. It took over an hour for the shuttle to come, and it only came after numerous phone calls (by me, not even the guy managing the lot) and my friend and I almost missing our flight. It was awful. We didn't think it could get worse until we arrived back. We landed and called the shuttle- we were informed they would pick us up in no more then 20 minutes. We stood outside in rainy 40 degree weather and the shuttle never came. We called at least a dozen times over the next hour (while freezing, wet and jetlagged) and half the calls went to voicemail, many others were them just hanging up on me and the rest was them telling us 5 minutes. In the end it was 1 hour and 13 minutes before the shuttle came and that was only when I threatened to call the police and report my car stolen considering they had my keys and I had no way to get to my car. And then it gets worse.... Finally we get to my car, very relieved, but then go to leave and it is very blocked in and the battery is dead. It takes the guy 45 minutes to move cars to be able to even get my car accessible and able to leave. He even asks if I can help move other peoples cars to make it quicker, which I refused since I did not feel it was right to drive other peoples cars. Finally my car is accessible and he uses someone else's car without their knowledge or permission (that paid to park there) to jump my car. When my car finally comes back to life (after a lecture on my battery being dirty and needing to be replaced), I discover that the trunk hadn't been closed fully. I took pictures of the car prior to leaving 2 weeks previously and it was definitely fully closed at that point (all lights even off in the car), so for some reason they had gone into my trunk and not fully closed it leading to my battery dying. Even after this whole debacle (now 3.5 hours after I initially landed), the shuttle driver/car mover has the audacity to ask for a tip and act outraged when I didn't comply by saying I didn't have cash (in reality was just shocked he wanted a tip after this all). I attempted to contact the company to complain and report their outrageous behavior, but there is no one to contact but the guy who runs the lot that barely speaks English and constantly hangs up. Airlot JFK Long Term Parking locked the keys inside the car and then bent the door frame while trying to retrieve them. Channel 7 ABC NY, report that other customers have had bad experiences with Airlot and that they have been operating without a license. In any case, my insurance company, NY City Consumer Affairs, and I have been in communication with them trying to get them to pay for the repairs. I sued them in small claim's court in Queens, NY. Inbound parking was a terrible and slow experience. They ran out of space in first lot and sent us to a second lot, mile away and honestly very odd lot! On way back pickup was a complete disgrace. Driver wouldnt tell us how long it would take to be picked up or the color of van, just hung up. When we tried to call back he hung up and than when we called again he just kept sending our calls to VM. We were standing with 2 small kids in absolutely freezing weather. I wanted to report this parking lot and explain our experience. When we first dropped off our car on December 21, we arrived at the same time as the shuttle driver and waited patiently for almost an hour for the other passengers. By the way. No attendant or office. Very dark shady area. We filled the paperwork as required including our return time of Tuesday, January 3 at 2:30am. And I specially asked the driver if they were sure if there would be a driver that early in the day. He said yes and to call the number on the piece of receipt we had. But when we arrived on Tuesday January 3 and going through customs and baggage claim, we got done at about 3am and made the call to them but no one answered. We waited around at the airport until 7:30am. My husband must have made over 100 calls to them unsuccessfully. I am currently 6 months pregnant so I was beyond exhausted. By then we were really tired and we were able to take a cab to Manhattan and our friend picked us up from there to go over to her house in NJ. Air JFK parking lot finally called us back around 9:15am but we were already on our way to jersey. It was a two hour ride due to traffic so we said we could go get our car later after we had some food and rested. At 4pm, we called them again and they assured us that our car would be ready to go and someone would be at the parking lot. We showed up around 5:15 and no one was there. Waited for another hour until someone finally came. This was just a very tiring day. We had to both call out of work. Our home is about 4 hours away. The owner was not apologetic and he did not want to give us a refund or even go listen to us. He hung up on my husband twice. Just wanted to warn everyone about this company. Awful. Just don't. The short story: 1) There are two parking lots. Only one is attended. The van driver is the one who needs to get your car out of lot number 2. 2) There is only one van that does not run on a fixed schedule unlike real parking lots. Plan accordingly, meaning, if you want to get to your flight on time, give yourself lots of spare time or, alternatively, just don't use this company and pay the extra money for a real parking lot. 3) I only know about the second unattended parking lot. They will not mark your keys, the drivers don't have time for this, so you are responsible for finding and identifying your car keys. 4) They are unprofessional. They may leave your keys out in the open and they may leave two women with their suitcases and a crying baby alone in a parking lot with the keys to all of the cars in the lot. The long story: I would like to give it an extra star for the few employees who genuinely cared and clearly want to do a good job, so it gets one star. I hope that those people find a better job where someone appreciates their hard work. I probably would have checked the reviews before choosing this lot and would have bypassed it but my son booked it through Way parking who should be using better parking lots. I have used outside long term parking before and never ever had an experience like this. Let's start with the drop off. We arrive at the lot on the address. The man working at the lot had just been robbed because he walked away from the trailer without locking it in a neighborhood where there are some drug addicts hanging around. We started taking our luggage out to wait for the van. We were told that, once we filled out our paper work, we must wait for the van and follow it to another parking lot. No, you can not drive to the parking lot, you must go with the van. We waited and waited for the van and began to get very nervous. After much complaining to a guy who didn't care, another man came along and drove us to the parking lot and parked our car in a lot that has no attendant and took us to the airport! What a relief! I told him that I would be back on the 24th around 9 PM to pick up the car. (This also should have been obvious from the paperwork that we filled out). We made our flight. Our return started out a little better. I was with my daughter and my infant grandson. I called the 1-800 number on the paperwork I had been given to get the van. I made numerous attempts to call. The first call was busy, further attempts led to a unable to connect message, so I called the office and spoke to the only good employee. He told me to call the 1-800 number but I still couldn't reach it. After several further calls back and forth, he called the van for me. They told us to wait upstairs at arrivals. It was this point where I realized that the company may not be completely legit. I know, I am a bit slow after a 7 hour international flight and time change. We were picked up in a white van driven to the lot where I found my car parked behind two rows of cars. The driver pulled out a huge case full of keys and asked me to find my key. It turned out that my son had removed my house-keys from the key so I pulled out 4 or 5 identical looking honda keys and didn't think that any of them were mine. "You don't know what your key looks like"? The guy asks me. I say, "it looks like this", holding up three or four identical honda keys. He then asked me who I had called when I arrived and began yelling at me for not calling him at some mysterious number that I was not able to intuit after a 7 hour international flight. He was really mad that I hadn't called him. I put the tip that I had been going to give him away. He then left the large box of keys open on the steps of the trailer and drove off in the van to drop off another family. I heard him complaining to them as he got in about how I had called the wrong number. I briefly considered, given that I had all of the keys to all of the cars in the lot, just driving off in another car with my crying grandchild but of course, I didn't do that. The nice guy from the office showed up and helped me to get my car. The driver came back and said, contemptuously "She doesn't know what her key looks like". The keys are nicely organized according to where the car is parked. The driver, in the meantime, was being extremely rude to people who were calling him for pick up, not understanding why they didn't know where to wait or how long he would be. I decided to try out all of the identical honda keys and found mine, which was missing my house keys, and the other cars were removed by the nice man from the office who had to search through the box for the keys to the three cars blocking mine.
