We almost cancelled our trip due to the travel advisory and friends and family advising us not to go for safety reasonings. We had no issues on our trip and even travelled into town to do some glass shopping. Anyhow, I chose this company based off the good reviews and we wanted a trust worthy transportation company during this uncertainty. First off, I'm so glad I saved the pic of the directions on how to find them after baggage claim. Since it was our time in PV I didn't know what to expect at the airport. I can tell you that the shark tank with of scammers that don't work Vallarta will "pretend" they work for the company and will ask you for your name and try to mislead you that they are Vallarta transfers in the airport area where you see all the signs. I remember to meet with the people in the airport but my hubby and I almost fell for it cause they literally let us know that they were looking for us and worked for Vallarta transfers. Has actually called they said before you exit the airport. I can't believe we does. It seem so truthful. Read this! Do not talk to anyone in the airport for this company. They will say they work for the company and they don't and they will sign you up with a separate ticket. Those are scammers and should get arrested for this.!! I yelled at them to leave us alone! They are great liars and con-artists!! Ignore and BEWARE !! Exit airport and walk to left and cross the cross walk where you see the yellow stripes on side walk... you will than see a tall blue flag with "Vallarta Transfers" and a sign with your name. It was very nice to hear that we were at the right spot. That day was so crowded because it was a holiday weekend. And our driver had to wait an extra hour for us. Anyhow, it was very nice and relieved to see the right company and it was nice to be drinking a coronarita on the way to the resort. All the staff was very friendly and talkative. One person name that stood out was "Christopher". I remembered his name because my brother's name and he was very helpful giving us suggestions and telling us about the town. anyhow, the airport is 15 minutes from "Dreams" if anyone wants to know. We ended up doing the one-way pay instead of the round-trip pay. I guess we could've saved 30 bucks if we would've booked Uber XL on the way to the airport. We are promised that we would get beer on the way to the airport when we returned, please see the photo of the receipt. Then they emailed me and said sorry, we only do beer when we welcome you at the airport, but not when we drive you back on your departure. So that is why I give the four star review because in the email invoice they indicated they would give us beers both ways but it wasn't true.. It was $60-65 one way w/o tip. What I should've done was book Uber XL from resort to airport as it was giving me quotes for $17-23 one way without tip. We just had a ton of luggage that is why we booked it both ways. Ended up taking a Uber to town mid trip. It cost us $7 each way. We didn't have a bad experience. I Hope this review Will help you out on your next adventure. Yes we would use it again for one way only if we had less luggage. If You're traveling with no kids and less luggage and I would say go for the UberXL you will save money.

She had a sign with our name on it outside the airport. Paid her in cash for the full round trip service, They offered us drinks and took us to Sebastian who would be driving us. The drive took about 45 minutes to the Conrad. They returned to pick us up like promised. Arrived when they said they would and took us back in a private car. At the Puerto Vallarta airport, we walked past all the drivers with their signs until we exited the airport and was outside. Right outside, we found our name and Vallarta Vamanos representative. He double-checked our information, reminded us to pay the amount in cash, and offered us bottled water. Then, he directed us over to the side of the road where our driver would meet us. Alvaro was the one who picked us up and drove us over to Punta de Mita which is about 45 minutes away. He was friendly and told us about the surrounding area, like the new Vidanta World that is being built in Puerto Vallarta. He asked if we wanted to stop for some great seafood, there was no extra cost to make a little stop before we got to our destination. So we said sure, and he brought us to Bucerias and we ate at a nice restaurant where he said they go out to get fresh oysters. The oysters were huge! We enjoyed the meal and he sat with us and he told us some stories. The view was nice since it was sunset time. Afterwards, we went on our way again and he brought us to our hotel. He was super nice and friendly! Our ride back to the airport after a few days of vacation was also pleasant. Our driver was someone else and he was also professional and friendly.

They finally admit a car was never dispatched and somehow said it was our problem to figure out.. leaving our family of 3, with a one year old, running late to the airport, with no car seat and no transportation. I contacted the company immediately and was told a supervisor would call me back. None did, so I emailed Dinora, my contact, explained the situation and asked her to make it better. She emailed back and explained our original ride was stuck in traffic, an inexcusable excuse for a transportation company & they took it upon themselves to provide a lesser option. Because I contacted them, they offered a $6 refund. They failed to provide that which I paid for and they failed to make it better after their mistake had been pointed out. My fantasy became a bit of a nightmare when my flight was changed/delayed and I was unable to get in contact with the Discover in a timely fashion. Once we landed, I saw that there were multiple missed calls and messages from the service. I thought for sure that they would not be able to pick us up. Contrary to my worst nightmare, they were still able to complete the pickup AND we were still able to make our Walmart stop. This was a huge relief and our driver Marco made us feel calm after a nerve-racking couple of hours on plane and the thought that we would be stranded at the airport. Upon return to the airport, we had a very tight pickup window because of my work Zoom call that I could not miss. Marco was our return driver as well and he was right on time and whisked us off to the airport without issue. We tipped him for his outstanding service and he even took a pic with us for our memories and this review. I wholeheartedly recommend them and if you do need to make changes because of flights, (unlike me) try to reach out ASAP so they are able to accommodate your transfer. We took the City and Canopy tour today.  I have to say it was the worst tour I have ever had in 25…read moreyears of coming to Puerto Vallarta.  The van was filthy inside, the air conditioning vents were broken, and we could barely see out of the windows because there were hand prints and stuff splashed on the inside of them.  If a tour has that much time in the van, it should be comfortable and clean.  The van sounded like the rear shocks were out and every time we hit a bump it felt like a metal rod was shoved up my rear. It was a miserable ride.  We could not hear our driver with all the noise in the back. The description of the tour made it sound like we would have more time than 20 minutes to explore downtown Puerto Vallarta.  The only places we had more time was where YOU wanted us to spend our money (jewelry store, tequila tasting, and Eden).  Today was a waste of $300 dollars!  It was a very disappointing day.

Getting a taxi can be sketchy in Puerto Vallarta. Some of the drivers are nice and ethical, others…read morenot so much. We were surprised when a large air conditioned van showed up to take four of us to a restaurant - usually the larger vans just do airport transportation. The driver, Hugo, was very nice and said not to worry he'd take us to the restaurant. He said he has driven one person if they needed a ride. He also kept the air conditioning on which some don't do because it eats up more gas. Since he was so nice, we told him that we were heading to the airport later and would be happy to use him. He gave us a card and said to call 10 minutes before we were done. Just as we were getting ready to have the server call for us, we saw him pull up! He waited for us to finish, drove us back to the hotel, waited for us to get our luggage, then drove us to the airport. He only charged us 200 pesos (less than $11 at the current exchange rate). Again, this was for a comfortable, air conditioned van. Hugo did not speak a lot of English, but I speak Spanish and found him to be very personable. I would definitely use his taxi service again.
