Time to air on the side of brevity and get this review churned out like butter. This is a good company for dry ice and they're all over the country and very popular, and that's because they're one of the trusted names in this market. For that reason we generally go to them when we are looking for ice products, which in Houston seems to be all the time. We've used them on a number of occasions and we trust the brand. read more

Airgas Store - Air on the side of caution - Safety Equipment Near Me - La Porte, Texas

In need of Dry ice for parties or for camping or to refill those acetylene or oxygen bottles I think this is pretty much your only choice. the service can be quite fast like when I exchange my Oxygen bottles although the cashier side is a bit slower getting your bottles are fast. They have a lot of other items too like Woks and Coolers as well as welding equiptment and safety gear. Parking has never been a problem except when they have a big event where you can also try out the welders. read more

Awesome customer service! Daniel and Jon were both extremely helpful with a very specific, unique request. I'm on vacation flying home today and carrying about 80-100oz of breast milk for my baby at home. I brought a cooler and have been trying to figure out how to fly home and package my milk correctly. Daniel helped me with the dry ice and packing my cooler and Jon was on the TSA website helping me look up their regulations. So sweet. Thanks guys! Means the world to this mama. read more

Airgas is a great choice for all your welding and brazing needs! Able to pull materials from different store even on different islands to ensure your needs are met quickly. You pay for the ease and convenience, but their ease of use makes me a return customer! read more

Great place to get your dry ice...only place right?? Nice that it's on the way to the airport...easy purchase...people are nice

Tanks are over price. First we went to the back....Wait time was way to long. We waited over 15 minutes. No one greeted or atempt to assist at any way my mom, she is handicap. Then we go to the front hoping for better service,...just to have the sales clerk say she has to go to the back and gave an excuse that there is only person working. I understand how it is working by themselves but at least acknowledge your customer....by doing so they will know that you'll help them next or as soon as you can. read more

I went to Airgas to refill my propane tank. This was a first for me and I pulled into the back lot as directed by the signage. I stepped out and was wondering because I didn't see anyone around but by the time I crossed the parking lot with tank in hand, a guy was heading out to greet me. I inquired how much it would cost to fill the tank as I didn't have a lot of cash on me and the price seemed reasonable. Unfortunately, it turned out my tank was too old and the sales guy pointed out the date stamped on it 1989 (I think I originally got it from my Dad and have been using it for my grill) and he said they can't fill anything older than 12 years old. BUT, then he gave me options including purchasing a new tank and the propane separately for a lot more OR going to a competitor that would exchange my tank with a full one for less than he was going to charge me for the propane alone. Now that's what I call customer service! I do believe I will return to check out what else they have because of the way I was treated today. Reading other reviews, I know they have stuff I would like to purchase. I hope this doesn't get that sales guy in trouble for sending me to the competition but I want to say thank you and I will be back and hope this review drums up more business for Airgas! read more

This place sucks, specially the bearded Japanese guy behind the counter, stopped by to get a coupler and a cap which he insisted didn't exist, walked back to the racks, turned around real quick and told me that they didn't have the coupler in stock , didn't even check anything I was looking at him the whole time. Went to Hydra-Air by the airport and they had both items, even the cap that wasn't supposed to exist hmm... read more

I had a great experience. I read many negative reviews about not being able to keep your own canister. I found it incredibly convenient just to switch out canisters. If you want to keep your own then I suggest going over to Pearl city but if you want quick and convenient and an incredibly nice group of people to help you, go to Airgas read more

I wanted to write this review because I always have such a remarkable experience everytime I get to shop at Airgas! They have a friendly staff, a good manager and always have what I need. Everyone: Go to Airgas for your Propane, Dry Ice, Weber Grill and Welding and Safety Equipment needs. They have it all and they do a great job! Way better than any competition!! read more

This place sucks... The absolute worse customer service on the planet...must be because they are the only show in town

I've come to Airgas twice now and each time has been really easy. The store laid out so that I'm not aimlessly walking around trying to figure out where everything is. The workers are always helpful and one even went above and beyond and cleaned up the item that I was purchasing. They're all super helpful here and this place has saved me from having to go to what I call my personal hell - Home Depot. They also sell camping gear and they had this large machete that I really want but have no use for. lol. read more

The service was wonderful, I have never had such a great experience getting gas. Gordon was friendly, informative, and just plain pleasant to work with. read more

I should have gone there first... Seemed simple enough to convert my propane grill to natural gas. The conversion kit had everything (supposedly). I dead ended on connecting the gas line to the supply line, going to multiple hardware stores to get a seemingly simple coupling or reduction connector. Many hardware stores have large varieties of these. I had gone to Gaspro before and felt ignored not buy giant amounts of gas, welding supplies, out door cooking equipment etc. NOT THIS TIME. My query was more complex than it seemed to me. The gentleman that helped me straightened the problem out fast by thinking out of the box. He also refereed another salesman that new a lot specifically about converting cooking equipment, score! good job Gaspro, keep up the great customer service work. read more

The customer service is always great. The staff is very knowledgeable. I have been here a couple of times and have always been taken care of. Damion was a huge help. He helped me pack up multiple boxes w/ dry ice and prepare to ship. I highly recommend this Airgas location read more

I like coming here to pick up ear plugs cause they got a great selection. This way I can filter out all the noise people make.

I came her to get 3 clear safety glasses. Not for welding or anything but for firing range. They didn't have the kind I was looking for but the ones they did have was frickin expensive. The weren't cool looking either. I thought I could get it then and there but ended up ordering it from amazon at a cheaper price and it was worth the wait too. read more

Awesome local air shop. Had a last minute fill on the CO2 tank for my Keg. They had me in and out within minutes. The knew exactly what I needed. The prices were fairly reasonable esp since we live in Hawaii!! I will definitely be doing business with them again soon! read more

The Waipahu store is quiet and not as busy as the Honolulu store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Do not use Airgas, they will nickle and dime you any way they can. We purchased a couple of oxygen canisters from Airgas about 5 years ago. Despite having the Airgas sticker on both canisters, as well as a purchase order number on both canisters, they refuse to take the canisters back and instead insist on charging us $90 PER canister in order to recycle it. DO NOT USE AIRGAS. Other places will recycle your used canisters for less than $20. I will never use them again. read more

Always try to find Noel when I go to the Dillingham store. ALWAYS goes out of his way to find out what you need :) !!!!!!! Always a smile and GREAT attitude :) !!!!!!!!! read more

After driving past Gaspro for over 40 years I finally had a reason to stop in and purchase dry ice. They were friendly, supportive and more than professional. Everyone offered advice or an answer to my questions no matter where I was in the store. They even made the extra effort to print out price quotes for future purchases. Great service and friendly faces... good job Gaspro! I will be back! read more

Terrible. I bought a regulator for 2 propane tanks. Took it home and installed it and it was defective. I took it back and was told that I had loosened the intake fittings so no refund. I told him that I took them out to put in my intake fittings that came with rubber hoses, not the junk copper lines that they had at the store. I had to buy another regulator and go to my credit card company to get a refund on the defective regulator. The employee said there was a 30 day warranty but not true, not one day. What a hassle. read more

I was looking to pick up some dry ice for a photography project and I've never had to purchase it before. The guy at the counter was very helpful and figured out about how much I would end up needing. I was in and out quick. read more

I'm pleased to share this review with Airgas company in Lihue Kauai, Hawaii. A member of you're staff "Robbie Correa" is an upstanding gentleman. He is definitely an asset to your company. I didn't make an appointment with him but when I called him one day, he went out of his way to help my with removing a couple of old cylinders I had on my property. Thank you Robbie C. again. read more

I came in for a refill on my tank and had some confusion over some safety issues. Two guys helped me out and taught me what I needed to know, going so far as to hook up my tank and show me. They were friendly and pleasant and made me feel welcome. One of them is named Ryan, and the other was the bald-headed guy who works at will-call. Really great guys. read more

I'm a carpenter, who was looking to learn a new skill and pick up a welder. I went to gaspro because I know they carry Millers, i had no clue about models, I just heard Millers were the best. I'm a novice, and several questions. I had to wait a few minutes, and I have no problem with that, they were busy. I was assisted by Noah. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, answered all of my questions, and pointed me in the right direction. Ever since that first experience, this place has become my go to spot for welding equipment, safety equipment, and even coolers. read more

Went in last week looking for some safety equipment for my employees. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The store offers a wide variety of items. I had to stop by to pick up some dry ice and had such a pleasant experience again. A very helpful young gentlemen by the name of John helped me. He made sure I didn't purchase too much or not enough for what I was going to do with the ice. While I was waiting for my ice, I overheard the manager Jenna talking to a gentleman about his cylinders. She was so patient with him and seemed to really understand what he wanted. She gave him her card and said to call her if there is anything else that she could do for him. I could tell he was very satisfied with the outcome. Then I watched her as she walked the gentleman outside, shook his hand and said goodbye. All the while with a smile on her face. Service like that is hard to find. At my age I love to see young people acting with respect as I did today with John and Jenna. Well done. read more
