This centre came to my attention as one of my friends use to use it for her dog. I was very disappointed since our first visit there and I would wish not to even bother and registered with them. They are too expensive, charge you £25.60 per every 10 minutes and then + treatments. We have recently moved to area and our dog was having a difficulty to hold a wee. As we were worried, we have called this vet up and made a visit. Before the actual appointment we read some articles online as well as spoke to our previous vet. As a result both- internet and our old vet have advised that this might be simple because of location change. As the appointment was made already, we went to see the vet. She said that can not see any complications but she wants to take some urine samples. That visit cost us £25.60 already. We have brought urine samples in next day. Previously receptionist has advised us that samples will cost £1.70 and it only takes a minute therefore we do not have to see vet and pay consultation fee. However, on that day, they have tried to charge us another £25.60 + £1.70 only because vet came out and said that samples are o.k. but she wants to do some additional tests. When asked how much would be the other tests- we were advised that it would be around £70. Well- that was the last time I went to this Centre. Our dog was fine a week after that without any treatments and, as our previous vet has advised; it was only a change of location. I would not recommend to anyone to use this Clinic to threat your dog as it is overpriced and they charge you for everything. Bear in mind that consultation fee is £25.60 per every 10 minutes, therefore as soon as you get in and start explaining what problem your lovely pet is having, YOU ARE GETTING CHARGED. read more

This is one vet centre i respect a lot, beautiful looking vet care centre great design outside and inside. Plenty of parking available for free outside to, great space for parking your car. Receptionist staff welcome you as you come in, you can book appointments inside and over the phone to. I own a small puppy so sometimes only when my puppy is ill i come here, fee prices depend on the illness. It can be costly to over a hundred pounds depending on the illness really. Checkup fees cost you around 30 quid here. read more

I forgot that we take our cat Deeley here! Dliopa's review reminded me. Anyway. Agree with everyone that it's a lovely looking little place in terms of the reception area. If you've ever seen 'Little Shop of Horrors', it's a bit like a cleaner version of Mr Mushnik's, with its tiled floor and dark walls. Hot Steve always pays for the treatments, and he hasn't complained yet but I'll be showing him the other reviews later so maybe we'll be changing vets in the near future. The last time I came here was to pick up a worming treatment for Deeley, as we'd had a letter telling us to. So Steve rang them the next morning and requested it, and was told to wait 24 hours before coming to collect it. So I went the following day after work to pick it up and it wasn't ready. And then I had to wait a full 35 minutes for them to get it because they'd forgotten to do it and the vet was in with a patient and I was tapping my feet and crossing my arms and huffing and puffing all over the shop. But then the time before that the vet lady who has a strong belgian accent commented that Deeley seemed to have 'a lot of poop in transit' and that made us giggle so we left much happier. And Deeley wasn't scared of her at all. So I'm not sure where that leaves me really. Don't hate 'em, don't love 'em. Three stars. read more

Appalling service over priced and one grumpy female vet always stuck with rest of the staff were pleasant enough though did feel most part not welcomed not to mention every time I took my little budgie to have her beak and claws trimmed it was not a fun experience and my budgie is ultra tame. But what put me off for good was in March the grumpy female vet cut Sherbert's toe really badly I ended up putting flour to stop the bleeding once I got home and was advice from the pet taxi man whom had more compassion then any of the vets at Aire vet. On a final note When I have my parents dog to stay with me few times while my dad was recovering from his back op. Poppy was not treated descent ether when she had a water infection which of course I paid a fortune for the treatment more then it should least she got treatment in the end after she was denied treatment when they saw nothing wrong with her when clearly she was in a lot pain. Save your time and a lot of stress and heartache. Find a better vet. read more

Been using this vet for a while and have taken lots of kitties in for vaccs and health checks + other minor ailments. Dont like the small waiting area, some dogs look like they would love to kill my kitties who become stressed with constant dog eye contact. No parking. They are very expensive but you are in a way, paying for private health care which is why you would expect a heart murmur to be picked up after two health checks it was not, another vet practice found the heart murmur first visit. Ironical really seeing as how the vet who missed the murmur TWICE has a special interest in cardiology!!! I have left this vet practice. Vet has not returned my calls, I am very very unhappy and would not recommend this practice to anyone. I gave one star out of 5 as it would not let me rate no stars.. read more

Terrible surgery. Will be taking to the small claims court, leaving reviews on every possible platform and reporting to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. They operated on my cat, gave me the wrong information when i picked her up which meant she nearly died after an infection built up over 5 years!!! The new vet I went to has identified contradictions in their medical notes. They "performed" a routine spay and left an ovary in there (which I wasnt told!) resulting in infection and the cat having pyometra in the end. STAY WELL AWAY!!!!!! read more

This is my first time going to this vets and they have been nothing but helpful. I got my bunny neutered and unfortunately (by no fault of their own) he got infected and experienced other problems. They were nothing but helpful and tried to make the vet costs as cheap as possible for me as I'm a student. The reception staff were always welcoming to me and greeted me nicely and the vet (Sarah) was more than helpful and did everything she could for my bunny in his stay there. Hi have brought my dog after he got attacked by another dog last month . At aire vet whil receptionist were trying to calm me down as I was pretty shaky after thd while ordeal , they made me realized I was covered in my dog blood and was clearly in shock . After a brief examination j was presented a bill for 515 pounds , j wasn't carring any money but luckily my Neibhour who drove me there did . They insisted j paid something before my dog got operated on . We clearly felt my dog would still be bleeding from his ear if we didn't have any cash . I had to sign a contract I will bd paying the whole thing in a certain amount of time which I initially did . When I told her j couldn't pay thd rest in 1 go she said she ll send a debt collector on me Which she never did Who thinks about deadlines and such when u fear for your dog s life . I wound NOT recommend that place to anyone and frankly I feel thd lady surgeon who owns thd place only cares about sheer profit . They do not offer instalment payement option . Tiday 4 weeks after my dog trauma , I have received court paper for a merely 299 left outstanding .:4 weeks post surgery !!! How shameful ! This place e is all about money and couldn't care less about the care of your pets ( receptionists aside ) I RECOMmEND everyone to read all thd negatives reviews online , all describing this vet woman only caring for money , overcharging for everything and very poor service Despicable !! I have taken my cat to Aire Veterinary Surgeons for quite a long time now and I feel they give a first rate service. Don't know why reviews have got hung up about the decor, that is not important. The surgery is located in an large old terraced house almost opposite Headingly cricket ground and the decor matches the period the house was built. I have found that all staff are pleasant and informative and happy to give advice, so don't agree with Lorna. My experience, and that of my sister who also takes her pet there are very different from some of the reviews which quite frankly I think are petty. I cannot comment on the cost as havent used an alternative vet for a while. read more
