I've lived in the Aire apartments for 3 years and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for modern amenities and a simple commute to downtown Seattle.
The value is unbeatable. While the building is older it has been completely remodeled inside. When I moved into the unit it had hardwood laminate installed, fresh trim, new paint, new appliances, and an updated bathroom. Each unit has its own washer and dryer, dishwasher, and parking. The building is quiet and dog friendly.
Ryan and his team at Guide PM took over managing the building and since then the building is really taken care of. The garbage & recycling is always in order, landscaping is good, sidewalks are clean - even when it snows!
I can walk to Whole Foods, QFC, coffee, a few restaurants and one brewery. This building is on the western slope of Queen Anne so all of these walks are short but hilly.
What are some downsides? This is an older building so it does not have a gym, fitness center, roof top area, or community roof. To be honest I've lived in a large new building in Seattle with all those things and the novelty wore off for me. I just wanted a private, quiet building, with modern amenities. read more
