I would like to share my disturbing experience on Dec. 16, 2011. I call the Nautica store (864-489-5505) in Gaffney, SC about price error made during my previous night's purchase. Store employee Tiffany answered the call around 1 PM EST. I explained the issue and seek for Tiffany's assistance. The conversation was in neutral motion and there was nothing special about it. After Tiffany told me that she didn't have authority, I asked her if I could talk to store supervisor. Tiffany put the phone down and talked to supervisor in the background. Unfortunately I could hear Tiffany's conversation loud & clear. There were many offensive and provocative words like "this idiot", "asshole", etc. I was shocked and extremely disturbed by what I heard. What made the case even worse is that Tiffany and I didn't have any argue or unpleasant conversation prior to me requesting talking to store supervisor. I have never experienced such unprofessional and rude experience from Nautica or any other stores over the past 20 years. I used to visit this store location on my way driving from Charlotte to Atlanta. All of the rest employees always are professional and courtesy. This experience really bothers me. By the way, store supervisor Marla did help me resolved the price error, which was caused by computer. Marla was professional, and she did apologize for Tiffany's behavior.

The sneakers felt a little too "all over the place" and came across as a bit schizophrenic stylistically. Props for having a "tight" store with a strong image but we ended up at the Adidas Store for some more classic looking sneaks and sportswear.... As I was posting this review I read an interesting article this morning regarding Under Armour losing popularity among young people. It also mentioned something about a new company policy (as of last year) that no longer allows employees to charge "strip club" visits to corporate accounts...hmmm.
