They told me the tech would text me 30 mins prior to arrival and my window was 8am-11am. I received a text from Angel around 9am and he and the other tech were at our place in 25 minutes. So far so good. I showed/explained our unit and Angel began a pretty intense inspection of our ducts/system with pictures. He advised the condition and what he thought would be a good plan. He didn't pressure or try to upsell anything, just advice. I believe if we went with the standard straight forward duct cleaning he would have performed it in the same manner. We chose deep clean and sanitization as our vents did have construction debris (YUP) way down the line as well as other things we saw in the pictures that we felt should be done fully and sanitized as well. They were extremely efficient and you didn't know they were there other than the hum of their tools. Start to finish took maybe 90-120 minutes and he showed after pics of each vent/return. At the end he gave us advice on our filter, pointed out an air gap from the installation that I took care of as well as pointing out that our outdoor unit MAY have a fan issue. Called our a/c guy and it certainly did!!!! We will DEFINITELY use them for future cleanings.

After about 10 minutes, they send me a text offering me $100.00 for the inconvenience. It felt more like they were offering me the money not to write the review. For some reason my original review with more detailed information was deleted. They did respond to the review stating that someone would be following up within 48 hours but that never happened either. They were very unprofessional and I would not recommend them.

We called out an AC / "Vent Cleaning" service who's tech "cleaned" the vent but spent the majority of the time trying to sell more services. Turns out the light came back on about 6 months later (for a service that should be annual). This time, we called VentSmart. Dryer vents are ALL they do. One price for a vent on the side of the house, another if the dryer vents to the roof. Wayne was super friendly and pleasant. He dispatched Chris in short order. Chris was even friendlier and worked hard to get the job done right. That first "Vent Cleaning" service never checked the roof, just "cleaned" from our air-conditioned laundry room. Chris got up there and removed a HUGE chunk of lint (attached pic), then high-speed brushed from top AND bottom. There was no BS, no trying to sell other services, no surprises with the cost. Just thoroughly cleaned the house vent, the vent in the dryer, and all around the dryer seals. Then cleaned up everything behind him. Professional, super nice, and a very reasonable price. They said oh you dont have to pay for the service, meaing the 24.99 a month ,since they damaged my clock..So here goes I call in for my deep cleaning the recommended once a year. Now I have 4 units.Then they told me their is no maintenence contact on the Diaken mini spilts. I said What do you mean,the only way I told them I would buy them is if their was a yearly contract So the owner came out and cleaned all 4 of them for 200.00 dollars. These people have been trying to get me to purchase a new a/c unit since last year. I feel like…read morethe last 2 times Grant came to my home he was setting up my unit for sabotage so we will have to keep forking out money and then finally give in to purchasing a brand new $20k unit, that he kept boasting about. Before he came to do a routine maintenance on our unit it was working perfectly fine. NOW, all of a sudden he is telling us about all these repairs it needs. We paid $1300 for the first "so called repair." 2 weeks after that repair my unit stopped working. Grant comes back out and he first quoted a $3k repair and showed a photo if dye everywhere (a scare tactic) then said, "good news everything is fine" then quoted $300 to do something. The unit shut itself off due to the storm. I called a couple people out for a second opinion and was told a totally different story that sounds nothing like Grants conflicting diagnoses. We feel scammed and do not TRUST Grant nor Air Rescue to even touch our unit ever again! So disappointing to experience a company scam customers, that trust them, for profits! Be careful, you never know who people know. I am an educator and I know several HVAC instructors. I made a call to have 2 instructors (friends) look at my unit and told me the recommended repairs from Grant/Air Rescue were bogus. We will never use Air Rescue AGAIN!!!
