Took our radon reading from 16 to .8 They installed the mitigation system in 2009, and other than needing a new fan after 10 years, it has run perfectly. Zero issues. When I did call for service I seem to recall it was done within 48 hours. The overall system is very simply and I don't even notice it. They core a few opening into your slab, plumb the piping to the outside of your house, and turn on the fan. My fan is in my garage attic. When I am in the attic I do not hear the fan. It is silent. I cannot recommend them enough.

I got rid of a bunch of junk! Chris and his team, I believe there were 4 other guys with him, got here at 8:00 AM and did not leave until they completed the job around 6:30PM. They were clean and did excellent work. When Chris came out and quoted the job, he took the time to explain everything to me. There were internal drain tiles put in the basement before we purchased the house and the gap between the wall and floor from the internal drain tiles had to be sealed. It was a lot of work for them, but they did it. We had a quote from another Radon company, and Chris came in about $400 lower. Our radon level was over 12.7, and now it is down to 1.0. Chris installed this January 18, 2024. While we were in Florida in February, the woman who watches our dog while we were gone, called and said a breaker popped. It happened to be the breaker the radon fan was plugged into. It was towards the end of our stay and I was going to look at it when I got home. I texted Chris and he came out and took care of it. So not only did Pro Radon do an outstanding job installing the system, but when I had a problem they were on top of it. Had us waiting weeks for a (special) team to take care of the 2-3 small spots just for them to take basically 10 min to finish which cost 9k without us knowing. They found rot in the wood behind a cabinet a didn't think to look up a see that the rot was coming from a bathtub leak. Instead they assumed it was flood damaged and ripped up our entire kitchen and main level for NO REASON. Ending payout was close to 45k. Now because of them we don't have enough coverage to finish rebuilding our house. In my opinion no way they did 45k amount of work. I wouldn't trust them at all. They so left me with a 1000 dollar comed bill. I think their quotes are BS and no matter what the estimate is they will charge the max. Another scam company trying to make easy money off insurance companies. I don't they are honest. Also the (absestos) team weren't wearing any gear and respirator mask.
