Jonathan was the technician and what impressed me the most was that just because he found a problem he still kept looking until he found and resolved all the issues. This took several visits in which new refrigerant was added, a leak was repaired, and a part replaced. It's $159 for yeah and it includes your spring and fall maintenance visits. The tech (Mason) came early, but I received a text stating he was on his way. I liked that. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is because he was trying to push sales. This is a brand new system on a new house. That's not necessary. And I told him I wasn't interested and he told me he had to tell me about it. If someone says not interested, leave it at that. Otherwise great service. They use shoe protectors which I appreciate.

We set up the installation at the same time we bought the units online from the Google Store. Our HVAC system turned out not to be compatible with these thermostats, and the assigned technician could not complete the installation. So, we turned to Southern Comfort, having established that they installed the system during our home's construction. They got their Josh out to us later the same day! He installed a pair of Ecobee Smart Thermostats instead. Carrier made our HVAC system, and they now own Ecobee, so it was a sound choice on his part. Josh returned the next day at our request to fine-tune the settings to match our requirements. It's a sophisticated system, but he took the time to explain its nuances and get us in a happy, warm place. It was a delight to work with Josh and the Staff in the Southern Comfort Office. It was cost-effective and good value too. Oh, that we had been smart enough to contact them in the first place.

You should keep better records so when your customers call, you can know how to best serve them, or in our case, not serve them. We were charged $145 for you to come to our house and tell us you don't carry the replacement for r-22 as many other companies do and have had great success maintaining units with it. You just want to sell us a new unit on a small house between 8-10k dollars. We have been using Superior for years with our rental houses. I've always been happy but today I just feel like we've been ripped off. I told them the issue with our unit so they knew when they came out that we needed recharged. They don't have any r22 anymore though. So of course they want to sell us any unit and charge us a diagnostic fee that is $50 more than anyone else.
