We sought out their help in finding privacy trees for our deck. They came back with options and an estimate. We agreed on their recommendation... and then everything fell apart. They called the day before install to say sorry we cannot find the trees you wanted (the trees that they recommended and provided a signed estimate for). Then they showed us a variety of too small trees and trees that were incompatible with the sun/shade composition of the area. Finally we found ones that they assured us would accomplish our original goals for privacy. Two weeks late they arrive with 3 foot tall trees that were brown and clearly insufficient for providing privacy. They assured us that these would grow fast and once planted would look better... and now here we are 4 months later with 5 dead 3 foot tall trees that we need to pay a new landscaper to dig up andreplace. What a nightmare... and truly a disappointment. Hopefully this is helpful to the next unsuspecting homeowner.

I was first introduced to Gramajo Roofing this past spring through a carpenter who I worked with to…read moreget some wood repairs done to our 2-story 2150 sqft house on the border of the city of Sonoma. I had had interactions with a couple of local roofers over the past 3-4 years for getting a tune-up and for a leak repair. Overall I wasn't satisfied with the experiences I'd had with the other roofers, so I decided to evaluate other options. Once I met up with Isaias Gramajo, the founder and owner of the company, I knew that I had found the right person to work with to replace and upgrade our old roof. The job just finished after a crew of 6 worked tirelessly for 6 long days, and everything went extremely well. It's rare to see a crew operate with this level of synchronicity, like a perfectly well-oiled machine - it was surreal to watch. The roof was quite complex, with a total of 8 interwoven faces and a total roof area of around 2500 sqft. After some research and doing experiments with samples, we had decided to go with high-profile "designer" shingles that are a step up even from standard high-quality architecture asphalt shingles. They are a bit thicker and harder to work with, but they have better durability and we really liked the looks, and Gramajo was happy to support our choice. Also I had decided to add more insulation everywhere, as we have high vaulted ceilings in the large living room and master suite with a correspondingly high utility bill. The 4" extra roof thickness necessitated for all gutters to be moved up, one of which they replaced entirely as they found patched-up saw blade damages from the original install. The team also found a large amount of rotted plywood and even some rot in the trusses, due to venting issues and leaks in the old roof, and fixed all of it up before adding the new layers. Isaias is an excellent communicator who listens and remembers well, is open to any and all suggestions and constructively providing his own perspective and experience, and went the extra mile to accommodate all of my concerns and wishes. The responsiveness was also outstanding. The crew was on time day after day, they were all super nice guys with great personalities, worked through heat up to 95F, cleaned up after themselves, and everything turned out amazing. My fiancé and I purchased a home near the Russian River in early 2022. In December 2022, we hired Gunneau's Home Services through Thumbtack to install a chandelier. Edward arrived with a younger helper. After installation, the light was briefly turned on and off, confirmed working, and we paid between $1,000-$2,000 for the service. Within a few weeks, the chandelier caused the breaker to trip repeatedly when in use. Unsure of the cause, we stopped using it. Later that year, a licensed electrician evaluated the issue. We were informed that the chandelier had not been properly supported and was hanging by the electrical wiring rather than being secured by the mounting chain. By that point, the fixture was no longer usable. Recently, the chandelier detached and fell, shattering into our kitchen and dining area. This prompted us to document the issue and post this review. Prior to doing so, I contacted Edward through his website to seek resolution but did not receive a response. Based on our experience, we were disappointed with the installation and follow-up communication.
