Granted, it was Labor Day, but not one of them answered the phone. Only two eventually called me back. Fontana Brothers? They answered on the first ring and told me they could have someone out within about 90 minutes. Our technician, Fredy, called about 20 minutes before arriving and immediately got to work. He quickly diagnosed a failed capacitor and an issue at the contactor/electrical connection, and replaced what was needed. He also recommended surge protection for both the outdoor condenser and indoor air handler, which seemed especially sensible after the electrical event that started all of this. But he didn't just fix the immediate problem and leave. He inspected the air handler, discovered a significant air leak where it connects to the ductwork, and found the blower wheel caked with buildup. He took care of those issues as well. He also checked the refrigerant charge and explained that the system appeared to have been left at the factory line-set charge, which only accounts for a relatively short refrigerant line. Ours runs roughly 45 feet between the condenser and air handler, so additional refrigerant was needed. Fredy showed me the regular repair pricing versus their maintenance-club pricing rather than just trying to sell me something, and with a seven-year-old system that clearly hadn't received enough attention, joining made perfect sense. What really stood out, though, was how he treated our home and family. He stopped to pet our cats, patiently answered our kids' questions, and treated everything with care. He used our garden hose while cleaning the blower and actually wound it up neater than we normally do. From answering the phone on a holiday to getting our AC running properly and finding several problems that could have continued costing us efficiency and reliability, the entire experience was exceptional. We have had 45 visits from the other AC company whose Name begins with a capitol I. Dynamic responded with next day service and sent technician Steven Lilly who correctly diagnosed the problem and went back to his shop, obtained the correct part and completed the repair . AC has been working Flawlessly for 10 day straight. I contacted Bryant to thank them for the referral. As a consumer in North Tampa, Lutz save your self some money, head aches and hot Florida nights and start your service request with Dynamic AC. I could have saved 45 service visits and all of the charges for service changing out (warrantied parts). Yes the parts were covered by the other AC contractor but tehy charged a diagnostic fee of $89.00 then a second separate visit and fee to replace or repair the Warrantied item. We…read moreare going on day six with no air conditioning because of an evaporator coil that was not installed correctly by Dynamic Heating and Cooling. The original cost to replace the evaporator coil was over a 1000. Our air conditioner stop working on Friday 11/25/22. We had guest in from out of town for the holiday, which made their stay very uncomfortable. I called Dynamic but they do not offer service calls after hours or the weekends. Therefore, we called another air conditioning company to come out over the weekend in hopes to have it repaired. After the tech evaluated the air conditioner, we were informed they could not repair it because the issue was with the evaporator coil. The tech informed us the coil was not installed correctly by Dynamic Air and duck tape was used to seal the cover over it instead of screws. Here is a description from the tech that describes the issue. Found system restricted system is not flowing refrigerant properly system could be contaminated from opening system (last year evaporator coil replacement from previous company) and not pulling a good vacuum, system has duct tape holding the evaporator coil in place (if remove evaporator coil will be exposed to the outside temperature) previous company did not add the right parts to mount and seal the evaporator coil correctly please see pictures. I called Dynamic at 8 am Monday 11/28/22 because on their web page it states they open at 8 am. A answering service picked up the call and I was told they would relay the call and would have someone call me back. I waited over an hour and I did not receive a call back. I called again, still no one answer the phone but receive a voice mail box. I left a message, still no call back. I called again and talked to a customer service agent. I informed her I needed a technician to come out today (Monday 11/28, day four without air conditioning), she asked what time and I told her anytime is fine. I began to tell her the issue with the evaporator coil. She instructed me she wanted to talk to the owner and would call me back in twenty mins. I waited over an hour and half with no call back. I called Dynamic back again trying to schedule an appointment for Monday, no one answered the phone. I called several times and no one would answer the phone. I finally, got a hold of someone when I asked my son to call them. I was told they could not send anyone out on Monday and I would have to wait until Tuesday. In addition, to this they would be sending the same technician who initially installed the evaporator coil and ducked taped the cover on. I instructed her that I did not want the same tech to come out as it was not installed correctly by him the first time and using duck tap inside inside the condenser wasn't up to code. She told me they wanted the same tech to repair it, period. We decided to try and have it repaired by the company the came out over the weekend instead of with Dramatic Air since we were getting a run around by them. The estimated cost we receive to correct this issue was 2800. We decided to replace the unit instead of having it repaired. I found Dynamic Air to be very unprofessional. Because of the evaporator coil was not promptly installed it cost us 6000 to 7000 dollars right at the holiday session and with a recession going on.

I am requiring about about a good faith $200 deposit I made on June 5th for what I was told was needed to reschedule a repair. Well, another service person came on June 23rd to fix the issue. But, the new repairman stated no work was necessary, it was an error. I appreciate the honesty. He said it was up to his supervisor to put in refund. Now, I would like my $200 deposit back. I don't understand why I am not being contacted or refunded about this issue.

From start to finish these guys are the very best!!! I called them and Ashley who works in the office st up an appointment for me right away, she was spectacular professional courteous and reassuring. Then Deatrick who is the Project Manager came out he was extremely professional thorough and explained everything from how long the new install would take, spoke to me about financing. Dearick is the man!!!! He knows his stuff inside and out!! And finally, a day later the 2 technicians came out, the job took a little longer that 5 and a half hours. The 2 technicians (Tyler and London) were outstanding. Courteous polite and most importantly they did an exceptional and outstanding job. If you need AC repair or a new installation like I did, Call 24/7 forget about all those other companies out there. These guys are the very best. Thanks very much to these 4 individuals.
