We informed him our appt. was not until the 14th and he complained about the scheduling dept. We requested whole house duct cleaning, pus dryer vent cleaning. The tech clamped a hose from the vacuum machine and started the unit stating would take 30 minutes to deep clean. We noticed the hose to the machine was crimped and machine obviously straining as it was not pulling any air from the vents. The tech (Ron) said that was OK, it would still clean but we proved it wasn't working so he said we would only have to pay for the dryer vent cleaning, which he had only collected about a hand full of lint from. So we paid for that ($79). We would definitely not use this service again. Very poor value and waste of our time and money.

Anthony was here a little after 8am. He was extremely professional, thorough and informative. He explained everything he was doing and even took the time to answer my general "how it works" questions. He identified the problem and had it fixed right away. After the unit was fixed I ask if I should go ahead and have the maintenance while he was there. He checked availability and offered to do it then or come back next week if it was more convenient. I had him go ahead and do it while he was here. We have used another company for the past 5 years with yearly maintenance. Today during the maintenance he found part that had never been cleaned or even looked at because it had been encased by the company that installed it. He removed moved a piece cleaned the pump which was full and starting to store moisture on the floor. If we had called a different company I don't know if they would have been as thorough as Anthony was today. If you need a great AC company that actually cares about it's customers first, this is the one. The prices were definitely fair, no attempt to up sale or offer unnecessary services. We are customers for life.

After using and calling around to all Fireplace companies in the Pensacola area I found Doodlebuggers, when trying to convert my wood burning fireplace into a gas fireplace (gas line already installed). I first was directed to Amanda, WHO IS AMAZING, she handles and coordinates the project. Brain and another tech came to my house, did a thorough inspection, even catching that a previous company broke building code by replacing broken old ceramic plates with metal plates. The price for two ceramic plates, fire log set, burner, and installation came to roughly $2200, which is great pricing. Only thing I didn't have them do is paint the plates, just due to the man hours that go into which drives up the price. Also, their schedule is a little further out than most but it's worth the wait, if you want it done right. Two things to note, they are the only company I found that actually installs gas burner systems! I was shocked by this when several others claim to be experts in this field?! Also, don't be deterred by them having fewer stars some companies are grouped together and don't reflect just their shop, but the entire region. For example the one that broken building code, eventually admitting to it, had 350 reviews with a 4.9 rating and I'll never use them again.

But, the fellow that just called me said it was "strange" I owned my apartment/condo and that the company has never done work for me. You also advertise "no additional charge for emergency services" but he said pricing would start at $300 for after hours. He didn't ask me to confirm my address. As I was rapidly losing interest in the conversation, another company called. I'd probably amend the "no additional charge" statement and and suggest not telling a client it's odd they own their property.
