If something sounds too good to be true, then everyone knows it's too good to be true. Especially if this company is too good to be true for anyone, then you have not shopped around to see other options. It took us 1 month to get our HVAC system replaced, fixed, fixed again, reinstall correctly, fixed that install, and then get them to fix all damages that their hardly English speaking crew caused.
I hired this company because they had 1 5-star review and no negatives. Shame on me, for not following through what I always normally do which is look for reviews that are not 5-stars and evaluate if it's based on the performance on the crew, or how the company handles issues that arise. It took them almost 12 hours to install initially. It seemed like something wasn't right with the installation, and having limited knowledge of HVAC systems myself, I asked 4 other professional HVAC companies to come out and take a look at it. After the first one, I felt like I was punched in my gut. He told me that they cut EVERY corner in the book to install. They didn't even install the parts that they said were so important (the float switch, for example). The initial report stated that the gas valve that we had originally installed this last winter by a master plumber was removed and replaced with a cheap one, under the system. Which was inaccessible. The reason it was inaccessible is the company failed to elevate the system, which would impact drainage severely. I immediately contacted the finance company as well as the credit card company to stop payments, because I wasn't getting anywhere with their "great" customer service. To this date, the owner or the "nicest" customer service reps have never apologized for this huge headache of coming in several days, all day.
During the installation, damage can be done. But not telling the homeowner and trying to hide it cheaply is unethical. My advice if you have had this company replace your HVAC, get a second opinion immediately. My new system was doomed to prematurely fail and be very inefficient the way it was originally installed. Also cause possible flooding of my ceiling, since there was no float switch. If there was a gas leak, I wouldn't be able to turn off the gas unless I pulled Atmos to shut off the gas at the meter.
Also to the owner: when you cause so much headache, even when you fix it people have to take time out of their life or work to wait around on your technicians. That can be a financial burden to some people. I suggest you accommodate these people financially. read more
