Came by the other day before flying out to NY on Singapore Airlines in Suites and it was a decent experience. Due to the Lufthansa ground strike, the Lufthansa Senator First Class lounge was closed... Staff at the Air Canada lounge were cordial, polite, called me by my name, wished me a great breakfast and safe flight. The staff refilling the food caused quite a bunch of sound and noise in the lounge. ...the lounge itself was modern with plenty of seating and a buffet with fresh and tasty food although selection was pretty limited. There was plenty of water along with an espresso maker for coffee. The lounge also provided a perfect space for plane spotting!

The Best Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge I ever been. I think every Maple Leaf Lounge should model after Frankfurt location, especially for International flights. I just don't understand why Air Canada does not put more effort in having a flagship lounge in Canadian airports?! I am not asking for free massage or a real cocktail bar. But something makes their frequent flyers and business class passengers feels welcome? The reception staff here is kind and friendly. They have real food here! The cold station just impressive with selection of salads, dips and even fresh fruits slices (mango and pineapples!). 3 different herb/fruit infused water to choose from. The hot station has a rotation of food through out the day. And the dessert tables has German traditional pastries, donuts and other sweets. Drinks all self served with fountain drinks, draft beers, wines, liquor and an awesome espresso making machine! Well equipped Showers, Chilled out area for a nap with your own private entertainment system?! Wifi access without passwords. The lounge itself was so spacious. It was never crowded the 4 hours I was there. This is probably the best layover I had.

I travelled a lot in 2014. I ended up being a Prestige member that year, which gave me a few perks when flying on Air Canada and Star Alliance airlines. I was on the bottom rung of the perks scale, but I liked what perks came my way. One perk that I got was a voucher for free lounge access at an international Air Canada lounge. I decided redeem this voucher at the lounge at FRA airport. I walked in and was greeted with a friendly smile by the woman at the counter. I asked if I could redeem my voucher. She said yes with a ton of enthusiasm and gave me the royal tour of where everything was! Showers? Yep! Quiet rooms? Many. Food and lounge chairs? All there. I was impressed. She even let me know when I needed to leave the lounge to catch my flight. Cool! I don't visit airport lounges often. Normally, when I do, I am with my boyfriend, who is the frequent traveller between us. This lounge was fairly new when I had visited. The leather chair was comfy. I did a bit of work before I left to get some souvenirs. There were plenty of chargers available. I had some pastries and tea. All hit the spot. I had already had lunch, so I didn't need anything massive. I thanked the woman on my way out. She reciprocated. It's a decent lounge with terrific customer service. I felt welcomed. Should I ever have lounge access again, I'd be happy to come back here. Of note, the view of flights taking off is incredible from any window in the lounge. (10)

    Beautiful lounge with decent food.

Definitely the best lounge I've ever been to. There's nothing like a hot shower after a 10-hour flight! And it reminded me of five star hotels. Except they charge you extra for shaving cream and all the goodies in most hotels! This is probably the only maple leaf lounge with edible food! The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. This place is so comfortable and quiet that a dude may have missed his flight when I was there. He was snoring for a while, then he woke up cursing himself running out the door. I look forward to my next layover in Frankfurt in a few weeks!

If you have a United Club card or traveling business on star alliance, you can access this lounge. I'd advise at least stopping by, great, GREAT airplane watching, mediocre food, great seating areas! I had a long layover and was rolling to every single lounge I could sneak (I mean access) into. I went to both LH Business lounges, this Maple Leaf one, and by and far for seating/views/lounging, the Maple Leaf can't be beat. For food and a bigger lounge head to either LH business class lounges. The lounge dragon was great, super friendly here and nice to talk to. Head here for an experience, especially if you have a layover of longer lengths, try them all out, no reason not to!

Come early, it's worth getting a little toasty in this relaxed environment prior to your flight...

Finally I can see what Air Canada has been doing with my money.... ;) Perhaps the best international lounge I've ever seen.... Incredible selection of food, desserts, and a fantastic wine/beer and alcohol collection... I mean cmon, it's an airport lounge... Cheers.

Lovely lounge equipped with modern style furniture, a self-service food&beverage bar and a couple of unique resting pods in the backarea of the lounge. The foodselection could be better, but I love the fact that they're trying to provide canadian food and even alcoholic beverages like their Crown Royal Whisky!

Canadian courtesy and professionalism greet you here. Clean spacious lounge with plenty of food including healthy choices. Very close to departure gates. Nothing to complain about.

One of the nicest lounges in German airports I know. The food selection could be larger but overall very clean and not that crowded

Therefore, if you use this lounge before catching a flight, give yourself plenty of time, as you will have to go through security again[1]. The layout of the lounge is also odd, as it develops length-wise, with the food/drinks area connecting two long rooms where tables and armchairs are located. Not all armchairs have access to a power outlet, and in fact there are extension cords in between armchairs, which I've never seen at an airport lounge. No TV's. The bathroom has only 2 stalls and 1 sink. Bottom line: if you have a long layover, then it's worth spending those few hours at this lounge; if not, then it's not worth it. ------------------------ [1] On top of Frankfurt airport being very big.

However, if you have a long layover it's worth it to relax, grab a snack and or a drink from the open / self-serve bar. The gentleman at check in was very nice. Besides the stains and outdated furniture it was clean / picked up. There is wifi. Of note, this is OUTSIDE of security. Immediately after dropping bags, go upstairs between hall B & C to find this lounge.

It was enjoyably quiet and mellow. The lounge has a self-serve bar which is very nice and features a variety of liquor, mixers, draft and bottled beer, and more. There are a few cappuccino, espresso and cafe stations scattered throughout the lounge. Additionally, a self-serve food buffet serves everything from a warm hearty meal to a delightful salad bar. For the holidays, the Senator lounge also featured a delicious port wine and fresh slices of stollen. Complimentary magazines and newspapers were available to read at two stations throughout the lounge. Several varieties of formal and casual seating could be found, as well as quiet spaces, cafe-style seating, charging stations with USB charging ports and EU outlets (no USB-C, so bear that in mind). Lastly, the Senator Lounge featured a shower suite area with all the amenities to freshen up between your flights.

We hung out in Terminal 2 until opening time. The furnishings and decor are dated, but comfortable. The breakfast was adequate. The scrambled eggs & bacon was what we needed to get us through to boarding. The apples in the fruit salad were very fresh. The mochaccino was very good. We didn't try any of the alcoholic beverages. Hey, it was 6:00 in the morning. I really would have loved to try the Japanese curry that they're famous for serving, but didn't get that opportunity. My biggest surprise was actually in the restroom. They have Toto Japanese toilets. I didn't know how to use the remote control. Fortunately, the toilet seat was already set on warm. What a cool experience! Lol! My husband was happy with his shower. He said it wasn't as nice as the Flagship Lounge in Chicago, but it was perfect for his needs. What's also great is that it was near our gate. Our AA flight departed at D1. This lounge was somewhere around D6. We didn't need to walk far. Definitely check it out if you happen to be in Frankfurt.

This review covers my overall experience with the LH lounge at Frankfurt Airport…read more Will not return: it's difficult to get in. The lounge itself is okay: spacious, clean, with various seating options. The drinks are much better than the food. It has four showers and a large business section. Getting in, however, is a challenge. Before this incident, I didn't pay attention to their two lounge types: Senator and Business, and my credit cards and ticket gave me access to both. I wasn't planning to use their lounge because: - The layover was short, but the first leg of the trip on LH from Krakow was delayed. - I have other easy options. But flying Lufthansa, I see their mustard-yellow lounges right off the plane. The first one, a Senator lounge, greeted me first. A woman by the door said, "Oh, you can't go," after I showed her my access code on their LH App. "Really? Why?" "You just can't," she replied. "So, the code doesn't work?" "You just can't," she insisted. "May I see your supervisor?" I asked, snapping a photo before she left to find someone. "Did you just take a photo of me?" she asked. "No, I just took a photo; you may be part of it." She went inside and soon reappeared with a tall white man. "Are you the supervisor?" I asked. "Did you take a photo of her?" he asked. "Yes, because she happens to be there." "Delete it," he instructed. "It's a public space," I said. "It's not allowed in Germany," he responded. I think that's not true, but why argue with a self-important buffoon? I deleted the photo. He looked satisfied and tersely said, "You can't use the code," then walked away. Did he get high on bullying a little old Asian woman? Okay, you won't key in with the code. Neither of them asked me what kind of access credentials I have. If you don't want to deal with your co-brand North American credit card, do NOT publicly offer it as a benefit. I didn't sign up for free LH lounge access. I found his manner repellent and somewhat amusing: I'd think by 2025, everyone would know that a deleted photo can be recovered from the 'Recently Deleted' folder with two clicks. Is he dumb, or is he just another of their army of counter-agents, taking pleasure in harassing customers? If you still think German precision is great, consider that their trains are often running late and that airport escalators have been broken for years... I don't know... Germany used to be the engine of Europe, but their top airline can't even scan a code properly. (The same goes for the Old Opera House in Frankfurt; they couldn't scan the ticket they emailed me. I had to print it out. For Pete's sake, save a tree or two, will you?) On my way to Centurion, I passed by another LH lounge (I think there are 14 of them in FRA) near my gate. I checked my email, and bingo, it worked, allowing me to write this. I won't be flying Lufthansa again anytime soon.
