The staff was very friendly and available to answer any questions. We were given a tour reminiscent of a much larger university. In fact I was so impressed that if I knew I had the desire and required focus or perhaps if it were 30 years ago, I'd apply and attend. I hope this school is recommended to high school students that typical college is not a good fit for and that need an alternative.

They don't even try and buy new and functional equipment /tools to work on the planes or the instruments. All the of the planes and the aircraft parts are super used or broken. The administration does not care for aviation or care for the people who are trying to get into the aviation field. It is a complete joke. You're better going to any other A&P school. This school is less then the bare minimum. The teachers are great, they definitely try they're best with what they got but administration does not prepare or help them the way they should. I've been to this school and did nothing but struggle and barely made it through. I really do not recommend. There's schools cheaper and will give you all the tools you need to succeed. My son was on a 2 week vacation and needed to get a learners permit and pass his driving test…read morebefore he returned to his duty station. I found Don Rudolph - owner of the Winter Park Driving Academy, LLC thru the DMV listing for driving schools in Seminole County. Don has over 10 years of driving instruction experience. Originally certified in Defensive Driving Instruction by the New Hampshire Police Standards and Training Council, Don has also completed additional training in Police Pursuit driving instruction through the New England State Police Area. The mission of WPDA is to provide behind the wheel driving instruction with the purpose of developing the highest level of driving skills to the student. We signed up for the Four Lesson (6hr) Defensive Driving Program as this was all the time we had before his appointment for his driving test. (There is also options for Six Lessons - 9hrs, Eight Lessons -12hrs, 10hr Night Driving, hourly sessions and also rental of the Academy vehicle for the road exam at the DMV. Don came out to our house in his dual control vehicle and had my son drive from the house for his lesson. Don gave us an information sheet on what was required for the exam and also the documents that the DMV now require for licensing (US Birth Cert or US Passport, SSCard, 2 proofs of residence). We noticed straight away that Don was a calm, well presented, polite man that put us at ease. After his first session with Don we noticed a marked improvement in my son's driving skills and I no longer felt anxious to have him drive me to practice outside of his lessons, with each session my son improved dramatically. He passed his driving test first try and was extremely pleased. Don turned out to be the right choice for us and I would highly recommend him to anyone starting out or wishing to improve their driving skills.

So, I had anxiety about driving and was about ready to hang it up. I scheduled an appointment with the school. Esmeralda Garcia was my driving instructor. She was absolutely excellent. She observed my driving and gave so many excellent tips. She made me feel relaxed and understood my feelings about my driving. Now, I am ready to go back out. Thanks so much, Esmeralda!!
