Our 2nd tutor wouldn't even turn her camera on during the sessions and didn't really seem to care about offering decent service. The tutor then sent us an email at the end of February saying she was cancelling our future sessions. Then, we were billed $529 three days after the Tutor cancelled on us. We didn't even realize this was an auto charge/subscription. They were not up front with that information. Varisty was not willing to refund us so we disputed the charge. 30 days later and it is still not resolved. They won't even allow us to book future sessions that we paid for. They have taken our $529 and won't even schedule future sessions with us. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Although they state arriving 30 minutes early, I recommend 45 minutes to park and find the office. GPS or mobile maps may take you to the other building (the 2180 building, since there are two on the property), but it's walkable if you get lost. Each lobby had a list of the business names for easy navigation just in case. Plenty of parking was available without any issue!

However, they gave an overview which made it much easier for me to understand the tutorials in the book afterwards. Suntech 3 is a great place to keep up to date on the newest trends in the web world. When it comes to learning difficult things (such as anatomy), live classes are so much easier for me to get than trying to read people's confusing tutorials on the web. Still, make sure you do some reviewing of the material you are about to learn if you are not a coding phenom. You know, the left brain/right brain dilemma. Such is the world of a graphics-girl-turned-flash-fanatic. Two cranial hemispheres fighting for superiority in my head when working on flash. Especially when trying to tackle things in Actionscript. Anyway, the instructor was really enthusiastic about the material and he was always there to answer questions. So if you had a billion questions like I did, you could always use part of your hour lunch to ask him to clarify. He was also very considerate about the students. Some of them traveled as far as the Florida Keys to attend the class. As for whether or not it is worth the price? Depends on how well you paid attention. It's an intensive class.
