Communication was easy with people at their firm. The technicians communicated with us and were not in a hurry when discussing our questions. We had been looking for a company and one of our neighbors uses Blue Ridge. Spoke with the technician who was servicing our neighbor. He gave me a card and I called the firm several days later after looking at on-line reviews. Technician came out and suggested we consider new equipment due to its age, and some very obvious problems. He actually made suggestions on not spending more money. Scheduled the following week to replace the equipment. Two technicians arrived to install new equipment. They were very responsive to questions and made suggestions on saving some money. The condensate pump had tripped the night before and left a small trail of water on the floor. The breaker had tripped and the pump was not operating. Testing the pump we discovered it was barely, if at all, working. We at this point were glad they were at our place. All of the work looks like showroom quality. The technicians obviously were conscientious about their work and took pride in their workmanship. They cleaned the work areas. We had, overall, a good experience. We certainly recommend Blue Ridge, and suggest looking at the amount of very positive reviews.

Our restoration project began with AquaPros in February. After months of delays, repeated excuses and unmet commitments, we were finally able to part ways once our pool liner was ordered and ultimately installed this month. Throughout our experience, we were repeatedly given inaccurate timelines, misled regarding the status of our project, charged for additional services that failed to deliver the expected results, and, most concerning, were met with an unprofessional and confrontational response from the owner when we attempted to address our legitimate concerns. The most important issue we feel prospective customers should understand is AquaPros' definition of "FULL SERVICE." According to the company, this terminology refers only to labor performed. However, after paying our invoice in full, our pool was far from fully operational. It was not clean, chemically balanced or functioning as a completed project would reasonably be expected to be; we literally were left with an expensive, concrete POND. Thus forced to hire a true professional to finish the work, restore the water to a crystal-clear and balanced condition, and ensure the pool was operating properly. During that inspection, the independent professional also discovered that our pool skimmer was cracked or, at minimum, that the damage had gone unnoticed or unaddressed during the liner installation process. This resulted in yet another unexpeced repair following what should have been a completed restoration. Prospective customers deserve complete transparency regarding what is and is not included in the services they are purchasing, so they can make informed decisions.

I knew from the beginning a cap needed to be installed to prevent rain from entering. I also knew he would need to reseal the concrete on the top of the chimney. Mike identified a number of aspects that needed to be corrected. I was pleased with how he addressed those concerns, doing so in a timely manner. I am particularly impressed with the level of excellence/quality Mike strives for and expects of his assistant. Any aspect that Mike questioned, he returned to and completed to his high standard. I was also pleased with Mike and his assistant's attention to cleanliness. The one challenge we experienced was having to reschedule the appointment due to weather and in that there were communication challenges as his business partner, Donna, was out of town. Mike worked outdoors and indoors on two of the coldest days we have experienced. During the job and upon completion Mike not only kept me posted on the status of the job, but sent me photographs of before and after pictures as well as a video explaining what he had done. I am impressed that he not only aspired to enable the unit work to its fullest potential, but desired, and achieved to have a finished product looking far better than when he arrived.
