I was only about 20 minutes from my home in Woodstock traveling on 75 when my right front tire blew. I was so fortunate to have control of my vehicle and was able to get to the side of the road safely. I got out to look at the damage. I had only been out of my car for a moment when a van pulled up behind my car. Three men got out and said they saw the blowout when it happened and turned around to come back to help me. They gladly hopped into high gear to remove all my suitcases and such to get to my spare tire and had me back on the road in about 20 minutes. It was already getting close to dark and Im sure they would have rather gone on home to be with their families. When I tried to pay them , they said, "No Ma'am! We see you as a mother figure and hope that someone would do the same for our family members." So I thanked them and hugged them and I was on my way. Wendell told us that the color of the residue was an indication of its age and that it could not possibly have occurred in the six weeks between services.
