I am deeply…read moreappreciative of the work that I was able to do with Jessica over this time, and I believe it has helped me immeasurably to get to a positive place in my life today. Jessica's style was perfect for me. Her attentive listener, thoughtful and knowledgeable feedback, insightful suggestions and sharing of resources, and her gentle but focused encouragement, all contributed to my progress as I climbed out of a deep hole which had previously seemed inescapable. I have a revitalized passion for life and I owe much of it to the work I did with Jessica., who always kept my long term goals in mind and took every effort to provide a warm space to work in. I am so thankful for Jessica's approach, the space and support provided, and her holistic sense of what I needed in a given session. The knowledge and habits I have developed as a result of Jessica's care and support have made a huge difference in my life. Coming to the Connective was a wonderful development for me and I am forever appreciative of my time with Jessica. I feel ready to continue my journey and excited to continue my progress with the insights I have gleaned about myself, my relationships with others, and my outlook on life. As insurance did not cover our sessions, I paid totally out of pocket. That is the only reason why I am withdrawing from therapy; the sessions were worth the price, but my financial realities mean I need to take a break from The Connective. The fact that I stayed with the Connective for so long evidences that I found the experience truly helpful and rewarding. I would not hesitate to recommend this organization in general and Jessica in particular. Thank you!

After I told her that I had a miscarriage, that my grandma died, that I had been sick for two years and that I had to terminate a wanted pregnancy, she said "that must have been so hard" with a pained expression on her face. Yes, obviously, it was really hard. That's why I went to therapy. That could have been an appropriate reaction if I was sobbing or in distress, but I wasn't... I was calm and collected, so her reaction was extremely jarring. It felt like she was putting on a show.

Whether you're looking for a therapist, an intuitive…read moreawakening or an opportunity to connect to someone who's passed, you will receive far more than you imagined by working with her. I recently had a reading with Val, where she managed to create the most meaningful and healing bridge between me and my father, who recently passed. I left our session feeling deeply connected to my dad, affirmed of his love, and very motivated to integrate his guidance into my life. She also shared visions of a potential future partner, and even more importantly, provided me with absolutely spot-on guidance in relation to how I can grow into the kind of woman capable of welcoming and receiving such a person into my life. I have been around the block when it comes to therapy and the healing arts. Val brings a rare presence, playfulness, courage and transparency into everything she does. As a psychic/intuitive reader, Val offers something much more profound than most. Because of her extensive background as a psychotherapist and her fearless love of the depths, she is able to provide the exact medicine required in each moment -- identifying patterns that need to be broken, gifts that need to be embraced, and soul priorities that need to be honored. Val has a way of meeting you exactly where you are and shining a light on exactly those places in yourself -- and in your life -- where your care and attention are most needed. I can't recommend Val more highly.

The amount of relief EMDR with Valerie has provided me is absolutely priceless. After having a baby in 2022, a lot of other things resurfaced and I reached back out to do another "round" of EMDR. This time with similar efficiency and outcomes. We discovered so many revelations that I have never once had come up in any individual or couples therapy I've been to over the years. Overall I had a wonderful (and life changing) experience with Valerie and highly recommend her. I am able to keep my depression in check (I can't take meds for it), I am less anxious and stressed, and all of my relationships (especially my marriage) are better off because of the work I've done with Valerie. Valerie is one of the best listeners, understanding, and so incredibly sharp and insightful. I've referred friends that have had great experiences as well. If you're on the fence, just do it, my only regret is not doing it sooner. If you think it's too pricey, just think to yourself how much you would pay to not be feeling X anymore, or how much months of talk therapy/divorce costs... I'm pretty sure the answer is MUCH more than what you would pay for these sessions!
