Watching the staff interact with patients and family, I would feel comfortable having any of my family members go here. I had the pleasure of working with several therapists in my time there and each and every one of them explained in detail my progress. But most importantly, they listened to all of my concerns. I ended up with Megan as my final therapist and Megan is a very kind, compassionate person who knows what she is doing. I could barely even dress myself. I couldn't even get a good nights sleep due to pain. I knew my primary care would only try pain meds or physical therapy before referring me for surgery on the rotator cuff. I was referred by a coworker to ARP Wave. They worked to heal the scar tissue in my muscles and then built the muscles back up stabilize the shoulder. They then gave me exercises to keep this from happening again. They got me back in action and it wasn't painful like I expected it to be. It was great going to PT here and I'll do so again if there's a need. Caitlin certainly knows her stuff and got my shoulder back in working order quickly and then worked with me to get range of motion and strength back. But I worked for a rehab therapy agency for 11 years and saw how much good comes when patients are treated by A+ therapists. In May 2021 I fell in the shower and tore my rotator cuff after already struggling with frozen shoulder; I needed pain relief and rehab STAT. I was evaluated and treated by Michael Landin, PT, and depended on him for pain relief for two years. After shoulder rehab ended, my whole body needed a lot of attention, but no matter what we tried I wasn't really improving. When Mike left in April of 2023, I transferred to Jorge, because I had watched him for two years and knew he was the best PT I had ever seen, and, well, only the best for this princess! TBH, I was so loyal to Mike that it took me some time to trust Jorge completely but letting him treat me was definitely the right decision. Jorge works hard to figure out my weird body, and I am extremely grateful for his sharp skills and superior knowledge. He has helped me make so much progress and I can finally feel and see the difference in my body. I now trust him implicitly and credit him with helping me more than any health care practitioner ever has. I seek to surround myself with people who inspire me and Jorge does so without fail WHILE helping me heal and figure out my body's quirks. I usually leave feeling like I learned something and can grow into a healthier version of me. Therapist Caryn Kadous knew I was injured and didn't say anything about it. Didn't know how to handle the situation, and when I asked for help, ignored the issues. This was one of many reasons I needed to leave and seek help elsewhere. TPT, Director-Jordan Mazick, and Caryn Kadous, need to really think about future patient care, and how they can better perform. How to better prepare and show empathy in gaining their future patience trust. When you advise the Director-Jordan Mazick of all the faults going on and Jordan Mazick particularly doesn't like it and treats you as if you didn't belong there for three years as a patient. Jordan advised me my kind didn't belong here. Not sure what this means. I live in Fair Oaks Ranch. Besides, it doesn't matter where you reside, all patience should be welcomed. BCBS requested my medical records (Twice), from Caryn Kadous and TPT of Boerne, Texas and these letters were ignored. This resulted in me obtaining these records myself as per HIPPA Law I or BCBS are allowed to obtain these records without issues. Please note I became injured at Texas Physical Therapy under the care of Caryn Kadous. An MRI, the timeline simply align with these results. This has been confirmed through my Orthopedic doctor, and my primary doctor. I have advised "all" of my doctors that TPT in Boerne, Texas is not the place they need to send their patience. I now have a frozen shoulder due to my injury working with Caryn Kadous with Texas Physical Therapy in Boerne, Texas. This injury can take anywhere from 1-3 years to heal. Mind you I did advise Caryn Kadous that I was having issues with my shoulder while I was working with Caryn and was ignored. This is "another" reason why I left TPT of Boerne, Texas. I had a perfectly healthy shoulder prior to entering Texas Physical Therapy of Boerne, Texas. I specially came here for a different reason all together. Both Jordan Mazick, and Caryn Kadous need to be re-evaluated in the ways of being a director and evaluations of caring for their patients and what to look for with injuries to their patients. I felt this was most important to have this posted as I don't want anyone else to have these issues.
