After several calls and 4 weeks later I finally spoke with someone who said there is no order and they would email the doctor. That was 2 weeks ago. I guess they don't want the business. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. At this point, I cannot place my confidence in any aspect of care through this place.

I had previously been seen a couple of times by Dr. John Case for prostate and urinary concerns. When I arrived for my third appointment at the Stone Oak clinic, I was informed that my insurance was no longer accepted and that I would need to pay out of pocket if I wished to continue seeing Dr. Case. In an effort to resolve the issue, I changed my HMO to one the office indicated they could accept and obtained a new PCP who submitted a new referral. When I called the office again, I spoke with the same staff member, only to be told that they would accept only part of my insurance, leaving me still unable to continue my care with Dr. Case. While I was in the middle of asking a question, the call was abruptly disconnected. I found this to be extremely discourteous and unprofessional. As a retired nurse, I find this type of treatment deeply disappointing. Patients have no control over changes in insurance policies, and it is disheartening to encounter staff who seem unwilling to take the time to assist someone simply trying to continue necessary medical care. I am sharing this experience so others are aware and can make informed decisions.
