If you're reading this, then you know EXACTLY how I feel. It is so hard to find a Dr. that I feel I can relate to, a Dr. that listens, understands, asks probing questions & actually reads my chart before coming into the examining room (Don't you hate it when a Dr. walks in & says "So why are you here today?" uh duh! Can you read your nurses handwriting? I just answered a hundred questions & you're gonna ask the same one's? ugh)) Most Dr.'s I have seen are in & out in less than 15 minutes on the initial appointment, let alone on regular wellness or illness checks! Not in this office! To find a Dr. I went online to the Converse and The Surrounding Community Facebook page & asked for recommendations. The response that stood out was about Dr. Harr's Office. After that response post, I received several more reiterating how good her practice is, & since no other Dr. had more than 3 responses on my post, I decided to call for an appointment, I have not been disappointed! Unfortunately, I have never seen Dr. Harr. Instead, I have seen Devon Durrand, PA from the very first appointment. She is humble, sensitive, caring, interested and genuine! Who can beat that combination? I have also seen Jennifer Zavala, PA on occasion when Devon is booked. Jennifer is humble, genuine and equally as open as Devon. How Dr. Harr found these wonderful Physician's Assistants I will never know! BUT, I know this, if these PA's work with Dr. Harr, then she must be as equally wonderful as her staff. The office staff is great. They are as accommodating as they can be when it comes to scheduling and seeing who I want to see. They have helped me when I had insurance changes, work forms completed and just to give a friendly hand & smile when I feel like crap. "Doc-in-the-box" feel is definitely not an accurate description of the office I went to. Ok, so the waiting area is dated, the business workstation is right outside the exam rooms & sometimes there's a wait or maybe horror upon horror, they missed seeing you (I tell you I would NOT have waited that long & I would have been more proactive if I were sitting in the exam room & I GUARANTEE I would have been seen! LOL). I'm sorry that some people had poor experiences. All I know is I am grateful to have found this practice, these Doctor's and the EXCEPTIONAL service I receive!

The year I'm preparing to depart this city, I find an Ophthalmologist, a Dentist & GYN I like (still working on that PCP). Anyway, Dr. Osowo listened. She believes in Body Autonomy, so you're informed & involved in your decisions instead of just being told what you should do. I felt that if I needed something and was unreasonable she would be clear & direct protecting her license and helping you help yourself. Now...I won't say it's a fast in and out. The long waiting period was in the waiting room the 1st time I went but it was also a mid afternoon appointment. My follow up appointment, I scheduled the 1st appointment of the day and I was in and out. If you're looking for a great GYN, look no more.

She was informative and professional. The day of my first appointment, I received such a great welcoming from the ladies at the front desk. They were so sweet, soft spoken, and professional. Then, I met Ms. Matilda. She's also sweet and professional. We shared a few laughs while I answered her questions. Prior to meeting Dr. Kohatsu, Ms. Matilda spoke highly of him and assured me that he's a great doctor, and she told no lies. On this particular day, a student, Rayshon (name is probably spelled incorrectly) was present. I have no doubt that this young man will be great doctor soon. I definitely hopes he finishes strong. Finally, I met Dr. Kohatsu. And the rest is history. He's very thorough and provided a lot of feedback. He LISTENS!! I also like that he takes the time to write notes in my chart because I wouldn't understand the results if he didn't. Lol. I've been back since and I've received the same positive and professional encounters with everyone who works here. Even the phlebotomists educated me on a few things. I do not remember everyone's names, but this place has an amazing team of professional employees. Sorry, I didn't take any pictures. On my first visit, he was overwhelmed with all of my issues (I will admit by this time, I cried every time I talked about all my health issues since I had no idea at that time what was wrong with me). My new PCP asked me which of my long list of issues I wanted to start with). Since that day I have been through 4 bone fractures, carpal tunnel in both hands, eye lid surgery, complete mouth dental implants, 2 double mastectomy surgeries, 2 hernia surgeries, and had my gallbladder removed and so many tests that I have no idea how many tests have been done on me My real irritation was that my doctor had made the assumption that I had been drunk when I displayed my shoulder. As I sat there, I realized that I was dismissed and my doctor was only talking to my husband. I really felt that I was being treated as insignificant and a drunk. I'm not a drunk and an extremely exhausted by the way I have been treated by doctors. I have had to fight for my health care and done almost all of the research on what is wrong with me. Even with finding out that I have Cushings, I can't get hardly any support from my provider. I understand that I am a complex case with my medical issues, but I do expect respect.

Post exertional mailaise is one of the significant aspects of it. This is very common currently with Long Covid vistims. What Dr Finnie encountered was post exertinal malaise. A deep sleepiness. When I came to he was sitting next to me. I did not know him. He very gently and kindly connected with me as a Knight. Slightly later he suggested that i visit his office and that he is a physician. I did. And I miss him as I now live in Northern California all due to the necessity of requiring a microdisectmy of C3 performed by Grant Shifflett MD Newport Beack neurosurgeon. Subsequently all of my symtoms have worsened. No i say something about his practice. A finer staff cannot be found, maybe equal but among the best of the best. Dr. Finnie is the most profoundly brilliant Primary Physicians i have ever had the priveledge of having him as my PC. He knew all the limits of PC and he most importantly knows the best qualified Specialists available. And most important he actually cares about his patients and their well being. That's rare these days. Also candor is rare and that's extremely important. Patients need truth and communicated in a very apporiate manner and timing. Not all patients are the same. I could say more, however, I can be long winded and have learned to try to be less so. If you are seeking what i have spoked about. They used to be at a tower by the hospital, and they moved to this site not sure how long ago. They do digital paperwork so when you're in site everything is pre-processed. They are timely and the staff works like a well oiled machine. Dr. Hasty is such a progressive, intelligent, caring provider all around. She cares about her patients, and their situation. Additionally they have begun offering MedSpa services which is SUPER convenient and discreet for those interested. Dr. Hasty and her team have impacted my life and health in meaningful ways and I will definitely continue working on be under her care.
