Never had any issues there. Everyone is helpful and friendly. They have everything I need. Repair shop is good too.

The repair shop is an absolute joke! Bought a brand new stihl farm boss chainsaw dec 2021, was used one time made about 4 cuts. Went to use a second time and it wouldn't run. Turns out it was missing the bearing and brought it in to have it repaired being it was still brand new and under warranty. We were told buy one guy we probably got a manufacturer defect, it happens. The next guy told us that we ran it with the break on and we are the reason it is broken so it will be 350 for the repair. Sent claim to stihl and they denied the claim due to what this asshole insisted happened. Kept telling my husband I'm not saying you're lying but .... Like my husband works with chainsaws at work and knows how to use them, he's not stupid and this guy kept inferring otherwise. Just went to pick it up to bring to another dealer for repair and they handed us the saw in pieces, covered in grease, in two boxes !! That is not the way it was given to them so why are they refusing to give it back that way. Horrible and absolutely unprofessional customer service. They have lost my respect and the money I spend at this store. I'll go elsewhere! If I could give zero stars I would. Hire better people ! Update- brought it to another repair shop and they said it is manufacturer defect and couldn't have possibly been our fault. They also said they are getting a lot of people with repair slips from agway on work that was never done. Seems to be all about the money over there because they tried to profit 350 off me for something the manufacturer covered. Absolutely ridiculous! read more

Here is a shout out to Krystle the manager at Binghamton Agway who announced over the store intercom system today that she had a customer with "chip on his shoulder" that she was sending to the lower warehouse. I brought to her attention that on Saturday we were sold a bag of water softner salt that was damaged, repaired with duck tape and only partially full. I had the damaged bag as evidence of my complaint. Hence apparently they believe it is acceptable business practice to sell a customer damaged goods, that were improperly attempted to repair and pass them off as full product and charge full price. Thanks Krystle for humiliating me in front of a whole store full of customers! Picketing the store on the 20th until an apology publicly is received. How dare they humiliate a 73 year old gentleman. Customer service out the window here by a manager which is unacceptable . Was not even looking for a replacement just to let them know what they were trying to sell. Anyone who wants to picket, we will be there on the 20th! read more

Absolutely unreliable! No regard for customers who are loyal customers to feed their livestock! Feed was brought home full of mold on a couple occasions, inventory is ALWAYS not accurate with their system and puts the farm owner in last minute predicaments, they will tell tou dates to pick up and your delivery will not be there. They just did this to us 3 days in a row. Gener manager of this local is beyond unprofessional and immature. This is not a safe place to care for your animals by any means. Not to mention they support an animal rehoming group that has a reputation for being "scammy". . No one at Agway seemed to care when I tried to inform them of what the company was doing by using cute kittens as a ploy! Very careless management and their prices are ridiculous for low quality items. It's well worth it shopping at Tractor Supply. read more

Rare houseplants galore at this clean, super-friendly location! Customer service here: it is the best there is! Their nursery is full of spectacular houseplants; it glows. Each plant I've purchased from this location, it has thrived, survived and, thus far, they have outlasted beyond any of those doomed, death-plugged, Big Box-Store plants! Personable staff here they have answered any and all questions I've ever had, and, when they don't know, they go look it up for you! I adore Agway stores; each one is independently owned and operated, giving each location the flexibility it needs to serve its own customer base. The Binghamton Agway is my go-to place for my wild bird needs: seeds, nuts, feeders, you name it. They carry just about every premium and premium-plus brand of dog and cat food, and a fine selection of supplies and toys for your four-legged companions. The greenhouse/gardening section is well-stocked and well-tended. Like every other Agway I've visited all over the Northeast, they carry soaps, honeys, and other locally-made items. They have a loyalty card - ask for it. Card-storage programs like KeyRing and CardStar have it on their list, and the check-out registers use hand-held scanners that don't have problems reading it. read more

Agway always honors your military discount! This is a great store to shop in for all pet supplies, farm, garden, tool shop, etc. Love going here and just looking around on nice days. Great gardening section and has an excellent selection of all pet items for your needs. Friendly and helpful staff make your visit always pleasant. Definitely recommend! read more

In my experience, most Agway stores I've been in have had friendly, knowledgeable staff, quality merchandise and prices that are competitive. This store however fails miserably! The manager of this Binghamton store is willing to lose loyal customers in order to make a lousy buck. We bought a few plants on clearance at the end of the growing season last year and this spring they were all dead. We called to see if we could get replacements (following Agway's policy of a refund or a replacement for 1 year after purchase) and the manager of this store flat out refused to honor the policy. After further communication with the main office, we learned that the plants we purchased never should have been sold at all because it was too late in the season and there was no way they'd survive the winter. My husband and I took the plants to the Agway in Endicott and they replaced our plants with no problem! We are never going to shop at the Binghamton store again, and neither are our families!! read more
