Aguardiente - Bandeja Paisa - Steakhouses Near Me - Orlando, Florida

Food was good but lacked flavor . Big portions , you can get Colombian beer , waitress was friendly , biggest issue - way overpriced on many entrees - having lived in Medellin , the prices were a bit of a shock - other Colombian restaurants somewhat close that are a much better value Good Colombian music - I believe they have live music on the weekends - probably better to go for drinks and apps read more

Food was amazing! I highly recommend the mini empanadas, so yummy! The service was great, all the staff smile and you can feel that they enjoy working there. Our server Allison was super sweet and explain all the food to us, she also mention about other activities that happened in the restaurant on the weekends. Very nice COLOMBIAN restaurant! read more

I've been here 4 times. Besides being here with Gringos like myself, I've been here with a Colombian and Ecuadorian person. Everyone gave it a thumbs up. I usually get the lomo de cerda (pork loin pounded into a flat steak). Others have had dishes with shrimp and chicken. There's music on the weekends (possibly in the evening during the week but I can't confirm that). Service and atmosphere were nice. It's my favorite Latin restaurant. read more

Amazing! The food and service were both excellent! Happy hour has generous hours (3-7 when we went) and generous offerings. We had the nachos-amazing! My husband and I both ordered traditional dishes. He ordered Baneja carne mil and I ordered cazuela frijoles. Both were delicious! Our server, Maria, was excellent! read more

The plain white rice was good. The ribeye was the worst steak I have ever had. Couldn't stomach to finish it. Aside the bad food, very loud and took two hours to get our food. read more

3 starts because the place was so loud!! If you want to go to a place to share with family, talk & hang out, this is not the place to go. If you go just to eat but no talking, this place is for you. The food was on point, service was lacking a little bit, we literally had to chase our server. I won't go back unless they control the music, it was great singing but it was uncomfortably crazy obnoxiously loud. read more

Aguardiente - Steakhouses Near Me - Orlando, Florida

My new favorite Colombian place in Orlando. Surpassed my expectations on everything price, portion size, service and drinks!!! Highly recommend!!! read more

Ok, if you're not of Latin descent you will be treated as "second class". I arrived alone, business trip, sat at the bar. Waited for a long time while the bar tender made mixers. Ordered red wine and water. Received no water. She then proceeded outside to the patio for 15 minutes to clean. I was ready to leave when another bar tender asked if I wanted to order. So I ordered an appetizer. Took a long time then arrived hot and tasty. No one ever asked if I needed another glass of wine even though my glass was in the on the bar empty. If you're a greengo stay away, they don't like us. read more

Amazing place and service. Definitely I'll go back, food was super good and tasty . truly recommended

This restaurant is ridiculously expensive! Ambiance and service are good but it still does not justify the price....,a bandeja paisa is $32 dollars! Give me a break!! read more

Take out food was missing The beans, side order of rice and aji for the stale mini empanadas. Reached out to the owner Ms E Gonzales and admit that their take out are not always fresh beef was tough too. Did not offer credit or apology. Be aware if ordering take out. read more

Took my family here on our last night of vacation. It was the best meal I had all trip. For comparison the night before I went to the Cheesecake Factory. I am half Colombian and came here with my mother, but we live in Manhattan and Brooklyn respectively. They did some traditional dishes very well, the empanadas were typical of what you would find in Bogota(the capital city), and the morcilla(sausage) and arepas were delicious as well. My entire family got the Bandeja Paisa(spelling?) Entrana(skirt steak), it comes with beans and rice that are out of this world, a whole deep fried piece of pork belly, two sweet fried plantains, half an avacado, and an arepa. The flavor hit strong, and were delicious. The drinks were good too, and it looked like they had a ridiculous happy hour special Monday-Friday. The best thing is that we had our best meal in not a chain restaurant, it is a hidden gem. read more

Horrible service, food isn't good, not a good atmosphere either ZERO stars if I could.

$40 beer bottles bucket, plus 18% added and if you pay with cash extra tip is expected without asking. So, if you wanna watch a game there, better get ready for an over charge. Plus female servers super rude. Not worthy!! read more

I wouldn't even rate this place. They surely don't want to take care of you if you don't speak Spanish. Two people in my party of 5 did not speak Spanish. No complimentary water or anything offered. My mother found a hair in her food wrapped around her shrimp. Showed it to the waitress who then took it away to the back another waitress came back about 15 minutes later saying they could not find the hair in the back. Lol. I did of course not. The food has been gone 15 minutes and now comes back without the hair. This place never offered a replacement meal. Then the so called comes to us after I demand the meal be removed from the over priced bill. He has no class or customer service. He never apologized or offered any remorse for the hair in the food. I ended up having a heated discussion with this so called individual calling himself the owner after he tried to tell my mother it was not a hair. I'll never eat here again just because of this POS who has no class as a restaurant owner. No one else at the table ate any of their food after the hair was found. This hair was over 6 inches long. My entire family is Colombian. We also own two businesses and would never treat a customer the way this "disrespectful owner" conducted business. This POS then offered to credit the shrimp but says he will charge for the cup of white rice and 4 pcs plantain's. What a joke. No class. He should be ashamed. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies. Terrible. Ambiance and the automatic 18% tip added is also a joke. Poor service. over priced. And to top it off bad food. read more

Great food and service. The ambiance is very Colombian, the music was good a little loud but not too bad, we sat outside and it was nice too. read more

Great food, great service and ambiance. Our server was the best and knew exactly how to take our orders

Understaffed, over-priced, bland frijoles, tough to chew tostones, music way too loud with different music inside and outside and conflicting to my ears! Overall, food was good and staff was very friendly but I jetted out of there with my family displeased! read more

Amazing restaurant. We absolutely loved the food and the service and definitely will go back. We were looking for something different to take out UK friends to and tried here. We all loved the food. I am not a bean person but I loved the red beans. Can't wait to go back. read more

We went to have breakfast and all we ate, with the exception of the very nice service had had, was horrible. We got the mini empanadas ( beef and chicken) and all we could taste was the grease and flour. Hot chocolate was watery with very little flavor real chocolate. My son and I had the American breakfast and everything on the plate was very greasy. The bacon was soggy and full of grease. I don't recommend this place and would never be back. The food in this place has nothing to do with Colombian food read more

On a little vacation to Orlando we decided to try this highly rated steakhouse for a late lunch. It looked like there were some renovations being done to the interior and exterior. The patio was all pulled up so there was no option to eat outside and the inside was much plainer than I had thought based on the pictures. Most of the tables in the middle looked like they would be moved out of the way for whatever stage show was being advertised on the projector screen on the far wall. There were about 6 other tables at this time and we were seated pretty quickly. Our server, Kevin, was spending time with a table next to ours and refilling drinks. After a few passes he finally stopped by to get our drink order. He seemed a little crestfallen that we weren't ordering cocktails and I think that set his mind on how much attention we would get. He dropped off our cola, some plates and dipping sauces but didn't tell us anything about them. He then moved back to the next table and spent time explaining the menu and disappeared for a bit before we were finally able to place our order. There was no offer to help or see what we would be looking to have, we asked questions and decided on a sampler platter and upgraded to the picana. After that, we didn't see him until he was bringing the food over and it was just to drop it off. The plate was piled high, though everything but the picana was a uniform shade of tan. We tried to eat a few of the items and only the steak was good. The fried pork belly was like an oily burned pork chewing gum. The chicken was so flavorless, it may as well have been a picture of chicken. There were about 2 potatoes quartered and boiled with about 7 baby potatoes. The plantains were so hard, it was like trying to eat a coaster. The blood sausage was heavily spiced and I would never have guessed what it was, but it was dry as well. The sausage was ok and had a decent flavor to it. The yuca fritas were not good either, it was like trying to chew a pool noodle. Kevin whizzed by our table a few times but we had to flag him down to get him to stop. When he finally did, we had to ask what the items were as nothing was really identifiable by taste and of course, no refills were offered or given. We asked for the check and he was quick to grab it and give us a card with his name so that we could review our experience. About $55 plus tip for around 6 ounces of edible meat and the same amount of potato. I think if you get a regular plate you'd get a better meal overall but the prices did seem pretty high, even considering the area. read more

excelente atención muchas gracias Melanie ,muy buena comida al estilo de nuestra tierra Colombia

Food quality was not as expected, borderline with tasteless. Incompetent staff and rude owner. Service was not good. Went for a big celebration and were poorly treated. Food took very long, we waited for over an hour to order our food. :( Not recommending or going back. It's not worthy. You can find other Colombian restaurants in the area with better food and exceptional service. read more
