The samosas are delicious! Warm and crispy. I like how the shape holds up after biting into it. The filling doesn't fall out easily or quickly. It has a bit of spicy kick but not too much. I am not a big fan of samosas as they tend to be greasy. When I had a potato samosa from Agra I wasn't disappointed. Not greasy and great taste in the filling. Just enough spice to add a bit of kick to it. Someone brought a case of them to work and it was a big hit. Everyone loved them. A great choice for an appy idea! read more

Been going here for years to buy samosas as a treat for the office and they usually get eaten up fast until yesterday. My staff kept accusing me of buying the samosas from another place because they were disappointed with the samosas they got yesterday. I showed them the Agra packaging they came in and one commented that the past couple times they felt the samosas were declining in quality and size. I did notice the same but didn't consider it a 'deal breaker' until yesterday. Let's start with .80 cents fresh samosas!!! You read that right! I was in the area wanting to try a new cafe but it was closed so I ended up here. Lucky for me I did. I walked in and was very intimidated they sell a lot of Indian sweets which Im not familiar with, but I do love veggie samosas. For .80 cents each you cant go wrong. A young lady helped me, I purchased 10 and it came warm and with yummy dipping sauce. I couldn't wait to get home, I ended up eating two in my car. As my mum lives around this area, this place popped up along with another one but the other place which is on the same block had some negative reviews so I decided on this place. Terrible food and service. Ordered the butter chicken for $11. It effectively tasted like a $0.60 bowl of Campbell's canned tomato soup, with the equivalent of the amount of chicken on a single drumstick. Basically, a bowl of crappy soup with a few random pieces of chicken in it. The owner smiled and did not care when I mentioned it and in fact pointed to another customer, saying they ordered it too and were not complaining. No attempt whatsoever to remedy the problem . Their paapdi chaat appetizer was even worse -- looked like someone had watered down the yoghurt so the whole thing was tasteless and cheap tasting. All in all, the people running this place have 0 sense of customer service and terrible cooks. I expect this restaurant will die off soon, as it deserves to. Btw, being that I am Indian, I can tell you with 100% conviction that this is terrible Indian food -- try Baba sweets just a block up the street -- WAY WAY WAY better. The only reason I'm giving it one star is because I can't select zero stars. The WORST service you'll ever experience...unless you're brown. I went in with a friend and placed an order. It took 45 MINUTES to get an order of samosas. All the while at least two dozen indian people came in, placed orders, received their food and left. Bought some samosas, 80 cents each. The samosa skin is nice and crisp and not greasy. The filling could use a bit more spices and spiciness but still good overall. This is the worst Indian Restaurant I have ever visited. I had chole bhature. The chole was bland and not fresh and the bhature was too oily. Oil was literally dripping from it and when I complained to the owner about it, he rudely replied saying that this is how it is made in India, have you not had it before. My girlfriend and I stumbles on this place. We had gone to Bombay Bistro, but they weren't serving the chickpeas with the deep fried bread that night. Shame, that's what my girlfriend was craving. So we upped and left.....crossed the street and walked into Agra. We asked for the chickpea dish....and they said sure. Not only was the food really good, but it was sooooo cheap!!!
