The receptionist was super friendly and patient. The entire office was spotless- something that puts your mind at ease when they're working in your mouth. I saw Dr. Robinson and he also was very patient and took care of the issue. Even later on in the day when I had some questions I forgot to ask, I called and they put me on the phone with the Dentist. All of them seem to take a lot of pride in their work and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I believe in conservative dentistry which means not doing any procedures which are not absolutely necessary. I broke a portion of a tooth with a large filling which would easily qualify for a crown with a hefty $400 copayment. Dr Robinson decided an additional filling would be the best treatment. I avoided a crown which essentially destroys the tooth. As someone who has their share of large fillings and crowns, I highly recommend this office.

They don't even perform a complete dental exam as they've done at every dentist I have been to since! They make you feel like some derelict off the street and make snotty comments about your teeth, and I never even so much as had a cavity! I was her patient from the time I was a young child, well into my adulthood and I'll never go back, especially after being called trashy! They gave me a terrible fear of the dentist, which is finally getting a bit better now that I've found a great dentist at Brookside Dental in Allentown. They make you feel welcome, comfortable, and cared for. When I came in for my first appointment, I was totally awed by the care and attention. Dr. Winans is the most thorough and thoughtful dentist I've ever had, sharing tips and new ideas as he continues his own education to become an even more effective practitioner. During my initial exam, he even checked for evidence of throat cancer (something no dentist I've ever had has cared to do!). He is honest and straightforward, and truly cares about ensuring a holistically healthy mouth. The office hasn't changed at all since I was a kid, I think even the toys in the waiting room are the same, but he is up to date with his dental procedures and if he is unable to do something in the office he has a great referral system with local oral surgeons. I must say, I absolutely LOVE the staff, Dr. Hartman and everything they do there! Everyone is always happy and friendly. Not having to make extra trips to the orthodontist every 4 weeks is an absolute blessing when you are talking about 3 kids, their schooling, extra cirricular activities, my work schedule, etc. Yet, when my daughter broke a bracket, eating something at school she should not have been, they accommodated me and got her seen that week!
