He has been spot on with everything he did for me from filing our taxes, business taxes, quarterly payment of our taxes on time and formation of corporation. I have also consulted Nick on several occasion and since I work crazy hours in day, I have contacted Nick during crazy hours and he always delivered or at least sent me to the right direction which helped me a lot. With his suggestion, I was able to make some business decisions that helped us a lot to be profitable very early. I have been filing my taxes wrong or should say missing many deductions that I was suppose to add, Nick walked me through the process, gave me instruction on how to keep track of things during the year so it helps us towards the year end to easily consolidate for taxes. Also, we just worked with Nick online, we never had to go to his office. He has managed to secured safe softwares online that can be used to exchange document with safety.     Horrible experience. I was in the market to sell my company. There was two brokers that I was…read moreinterested in using and hiring. I originally hired a different broker, but was not sure. Being that it was my first time selling a business Emily promised me a lot of things. Told me my business would likely sell within 2 weeks told me that her company she works for is huge and they advertise globally so being my other broker did not put me in a contract and was smaller company I left and went to her. Worst mistake of my life. Let me start by telling you she had my listing for 2 weeks and told me I need to lower the price of my company by $300,000. I declined as I knew what my company was worth. When I was with original broker, he had brought a buyer to me that we hit it off. When leaving the other broker, he told him I was not selling the company anymore. The buyer found me again Emilys listing and started to negotiate. Mind you I had signed a contract with the other broker that was not binding, but it did state that if somebody he brought to me tried to purchase, seller was liable for part of the commissions. She kept telling me that she was going to take care of him. I reached out to him to do the right thing. Emily was not planning to take care of him. In fact, she was going to give him minimal.. from there the buyer offered me $300,000 less than what I wanted so I refused. Emily told me " If you think you are going to get what you have your business listed for you are wrong". This is coming from a broker that's supposed to get me the most money for my business. Obviously did not have my best interest, but hers. The buyer offered me full asking price at that time. Another buyer came in and offered a little bit more so the original buyer countered with a higher price, basically I negotiated my own price. If I would've listen to her, I would've sold my business for way less about $800k Less!!! Yet Emily wants to take credit for that. Secondly, I am glad I stayed friends with the original broker, because if it was not for him, I would've pulled out of the deal. Emily never returns calls. I always had to call her and then her excuse would be "oh, I was just going to call you." False. This was every time she never explained anything we had issues with. My other broker went around town looking for places to rent for the new buyer. While Emily did nothing. The only thing she did for me was lower her commission rate which I appreciate but honestly I think the commission that she made for what she did was ridiculous. She does not earn her commissions. The other broker explained to me, met me for meetings with the buyer.. He really went above and beyond. I am glad he was able to get half the commission that we both had to fight for him to get because Emily was not going to pay him half and he earned it. Every time I talk to her she would tell me "I don't know why he's getting half he doesn't do anything. Meanwhile, in the background, the other broker was doing his job and actually getting the DEAL DONE! If it was not for my original broker guy, it would never have closed I would've walked away or it would have fell thru cracks on her dime. If you're in the market to sell your company, do not use Emily or Transworld. I had talked to Emily's boss at Transworld and he knew nothing, he didn't even get his facts together before he called me. He told me the same thing that the other broker got paid for nothing. I explained to him that the other broker sat with me at my office before I ever switched brokers and brought the buyer to me. He was the reason the buyer liked my company. He was the reason this deal closed. If you want a reputable broker, do your research and stay away from this company and Emily. This deal took so long that she had told my landlord, that it was supposed to close December 1. She never updated my landlord when it was delayed. My landlord went into my office and began disconnecting things and changing the locks. Almost alerted my employees of the sale and jeopardized the sale. Overall a horrible experience.
