I'm here to be honest and upfront about this company. There's no exaggeration with my review, only…read moretruth. Lincare is the is the epitome of a scam company. Their lies, poor customer service, promises broken, billing scams, and more, is what's causing me to write this review. My first appointment was last December. I received a new CPAP machine and mask. I went in there asking for a new Resmed mask. They initially told me they didn't have it yet and will order it. They said they would call me when its ready. After a few weeks, I heard nothing. So, I decide to call them for an update. Their update was they have a vendor that they can order it and have it in a week. A week goes by, and I haven't heard anything. I call in again for an update, now it's they have them, but they need to enter it in their system. At this point, a month goes by without an update. I call them back because I'm now frustrated with them. I made the point clear, I wanted that mask from the first appointment. I finally spoke with the manager and she assured me they will fixed it and work hard to get it out. She promised me she would call once a week to give me an update. That only lasted a week and left me hanging. Two-three months go buy, and I finally call them and complain. I yet again ask about update and she said she'll call me back. Now, after three weeks, no call back. Why do I want this mask? Because its the update to the mask I've had for the past five years. Resmed is selling the new mask on most sites. So, it's not too new for it to be backordered. My current and likely guess is that Lincare has a remaining stock of the old mask and is purposely choosing to not offer the new. This way they can sell their old stock before offering the new, even after I have been requesting this mask for five months and been given empty promises. Second problem is the way they handled the billing of the new CPAP. I received the new CPAP last December. My insurance deductible was met, and should have covered a large portion of the device. Lincare decided to wait until the new year to process the billing of it. Because they waited, now we owe a far larger amount than we should. This I don't understand or a have good explanation for. My guess is that they did this out of spite or because they're scammers. I think it's a combination of both. They're irritated that I have been trying to get this mask and complaining. The poor customer service and the lies fit with my theory. There have been a ton of problems with this company. This month, they sent me a new mask, but it was the old mask. They have no scruples. They're liars and scammers. Don't do business with them. All you need to do is read their negative reviews to see what they're truly like. If they respond with a canned response of, "we take pride in our service or we've done this or that", don't believe them. STAY FAR AWAY.

The staff is both qualified and empathetic. Enthusiastically recommend this business. The two times I have been in the office fellow clients expressed their appreciation as well.

We prepaid for an oxygen machine for one month. It was returned within the month. Since then, we get two different bills from two separate groups at Lincare each month for the oxygen tank with new monthly charges on it. (Remember we prepaid for a month and only had it for a month, so we owe nothing.) However, the charges for services not rendered or requested increases every month by 115 dollars. I have called them 13 times. 5 times they told me it was resolved. With over 8 promises of phone calls back, they never called back once. Talking with supervisors produces similar results. Their favorite excuses all revolved around the fact that the person we need to talk to is not avialable now - either timezone - sick - vacation - out on a call etc.... Twice, I have gotten them to admit was returned, and that the have the equipment - all to no avail. Some of my bills come from Ft Lauderdale office, I have written them letters, and they cannot bother to respond. To paraphrase Judge Aquilina, I would not even let my dog use Lincare. Don't say you were not warned.

I usually don't complain openly about a company's sub par performance online…read more However, the experience I've had with this group has been astonishingly disappointing, and my concern for the well being of others motivates me to call attention to this. I've been on CPAP therapy since 2020, and used this group because they accepted Kaiser, and then Aetna, with a seamless transition. In January of this year I switched to Humana. My mistake was believing I'd have no difficulty transitioning yet again. To my surprise, I received a bill for approximately $250. instead of the usual $40. copay. When I contacted them, Apria informed me I needed a new authorization from my doctor which I submitted. Then, I again received a bill for the full amount, stating they had not been paid, and that I was in risk of being sent to collections! I contacted them and was then told they did not work with Humana, and I'd be responsible for the full amount. Calling yet again, I spoke to the same Pilipino woman who must be working from home, as I distinctly heard three chickens in the background. I spent a good deal of time living in Hawaii, and many people from the P.I. raise chickens, which I found amusing, as long as I wasn't a next door neighbor. I called yet again and asked to be removed from their customer list, and to be sent an email confirming I'd cancelled my subscription and that I've paid in full. I've yet to see any confirmation, even though the same woman who always answers the customer service line said she would do so. My latest automatic re-supply was already en route, and I informed her I wasn't accepting it, and asked for a pre-paid UPS label to be sent, which surprisingly she did. I immediately took it to a contract station here in the valley, and within four days, received a confirmation email stating they'd received it. Now I'm getting daily emails saying they haven't received it yet, right below the one that confirmed that they did. If ineptitude is the new normal, which seems to be the trend, judging from the news from the current political spectrum, then this company is totally on brand. To any thinking person contemplating using this company, some words of warning: Your concerns won't be addressed, your requests will go unheeded, your payments won't be credited, and your typically calm demeanor will be challenged beyond belief! How these individuals stay in business is a total mystery to me, but in light of how abject stupidity and incompetence has gained popularity in the socio-political climate in this country, it's not surprising. If you visit the Apria location in Spokane, they are shielded behind a glass partition reminiscent of a bank or convenience store that's suffered multiple armed robberies. I truly miss the days when people behaved with respect, took their jobs seriously, and had self awareness enough not to insult my intelligence at every opportunity. If there was a minus five rating opportunity given, they'd get it.
