I moved to the Coachella Valley in 2017 and have gone to Agim Salon in Palm Desert from the very beginning of my move after a recommendation from a good friend who lives in San Francisco, where I am from. I am not a person who writes reviews very often, but today I feel compelled to tell everyone who is looking for the best hair professional in all of Palm Desert and surrounding areas, Agim is the best! I am 69 years old now and let's be honest, it's a challenge to create beautiful hair for someone my age. My hair is thin, dry, brittle and gray. Agim miraculously turns my hair into something that I am very proud of. Do not hesitate! Some people might feel that his prices are high, but let me tell you, he is worth every penny. On top of his skill, his enthusiasm for what he does is over-the-top. One other mention, his wife Bruna touches up my roots in between balayage and haircut appointments, and her talent is predictable and high-quality as well. read more

My neighbor takes her mother here once a week and both of them have their hair done. I must admit they do a great job here because their hair is always looking so shiny and well sculpted. I never see them without their hair looking great. They take great pride in looking their best, and you can tell their hairdresser must be a true artist. read more

FIVE STARS! AGIM, Bruna and their Gorgeous daughter- provide Celebrity VIP Service to the residents and visitors of Palm Desert. I'm back and forth to Malibu, and it's hard to keep my beauty appointments straight. This beautiful salon next to Saks takes all of the guesswork out of it, and you just sink into the chair and relax. The fabulous hair products are Balmain- super High End from Paris. This is a great salon! It is a family run business and you will feel like part of the family instantly! Seriously, the sweetest! That being said.. they are super professional, thoughtful and talented stylists. Aliana did my color and an amazing blowout for me. They use L'Oréal color line which is a super high quality color line and they spoke thoughtfully with me about my color. I was thrilled with the final outcome and look forward to being a regular at the salon and visiting with these fabulous folks. Men's hair: Somehow I had slipped into the trendy "gentleman's Barbershop" trend and forgot what a high end stylist is capable of. Bruna investigated how my scalp naturally worked, how it fell around different parts of my head, how it grew at different rates and thickness over a month, and what I was looking for. I am 59 so thin up top and a minor bald spot in the back. BY the time I walked out, I felt like George Clooney and had been educated how to use a specific part of my hair to cover my bald spot and to not let that get too long otherwise it splits and leaves gaps. Go figure...I had been doing the opposite for years. Add to that ... it's fun in there. Agim and Bruna are just having a great time and the conversations flow all over the salon.
