As of 12/08/2025, I have not received the estimate, nor heard from Buzz Bunting again. Very unprofessional. I hate having strangers come into my private residence for the purpose of providing service/estimates then disappearing without a word...feels weird and sketchy. Based upon same, I would not recommend Bunting Home Improvements. One star was required for me to include a review and is fair for what was provided.

I first met Mario and his crew in the midst of their install during a random visit to our home. Mario took the time to introduce himself and crew, whose names I've forgotten, and show us around the carpeting. Everyone that we dealt with from The Carpet Guy was genuinely friendly and very professional. The carpet looks and feels great, such an improvement over the ancient carpet we had. We had carpet installed in a total of eight rooms so have plenty of opportunity to enjoy the quality of the carpet, the pad, and the invisibility of the seams. A couple of friends commented on the install, we've even had someone ask for the company's contact information. There were two things that needed to be resolved throughout the process, we were told that their supplier had shorted them a section of carpet, the material arrived and was installed in short order. Mario even took the time to share that that particular seam was inside the closet so it wouldn't be walked over as much and he wanted me to see the quality of the seam. Shortly after the install was complete, I was making a very critical examination of the carpet and looking for defects when I discovered that I could feel the tack strip around the tiled area near out fireplace. I called Mark he told me he'd have Mario stop by and knock down the tack strip, Mario called me soon after and asked if he could stop by on a Saturday. In short order the tacks were knocked down and I was invited to check the work. Simply put, I was well treated, the materials and workmanship are wonderful, and I would highly recommend The Carpet Guy to anyone who asked.

He even came out to look at everything and meet us in person before tile day, which was very helpful! He came by himself and put up all of the tile on a Saturday (was here from about 7:30am-4pm) and then one of his contractors came on Monday for a few hours to do the grout and finish everything up. Plus his rates were reasonable! Overall we're very happy.

When we moved in our lovely new home in 2003, I was particularly fond of the massive soaking tub. But as time wore on and trends changed, it wasn't as en Vogue. And as much as I love a good soak, it took way too much water to fill. What I never loved was the base quality shower "box" with the cheap sliding doors. I so wanted to bring my bathroom into the current era. Last fall (2019), we decided it was time...and that we deserved it. Metropolitan Bath and Tile was great from the in-home measurement (great guy) to the selection of custom cabinetry, sink, tub, tile, and fixtures with help from Wendy and Alex. Our installation team was professional, respectful, and made sure to ask for input and explain as they went along. When I recall their names, I'll add them. They did excellent work and deserve to me mentioned! Our only snag was the new soaking tub was back ordered from the manufacturer. The install team apologized and tried to keep us abreast of the ETA as best they could. It turned out to be longer than we wanted, a few weeks of not using our bathroom while waiting. But when it was placed in and the flooring finished, it was perfect. With a little interior decorating by yours truly bathroom looks like it belongs in a destination spa. Their work isn't inexpensive, but you pay for quality and peace of mind. Sorry it's taken so long to post a review. Thank you to the folks at Metropolitan...and as their ad states bathrooms --it's what they do, it's all they do!

My wife insisted on this company. I was against it because of the outrageous cost to just do a 32"…read moreshower stall. $12,000+. Ridiculous, and we had the tile. This will probably bother me the rest of my life. The job was done well but there are so many other companies that could have done the job for half the price. You are paying for sales people that hold your hand and a showroom to show you your options. Some people need this, I don't. My wife apparently did. My sister just got a whole bathroom remodel including all the walls removed down to the studs, new tub, glass door, ceramic floors and walls, double sink vanity and all fixtures. All for $8,000. Her job looks just as good for so much less. If you don't mind paying inflated prices, by all means hire this company.

The contract provided a clear timeline for the work and the deliverables. Zufar also recommended a cabinet company that was able to provide custom wood cabinets at far less than the cabinets I had been looking at..I felt like this company wanted to do a good job and not upsell me on more than I wanted/ could afford. They tore out abs disposed of existing cabinets and appliances, installed new flooring, lights, repainted everything, installed a tile backsplash, the cabinets, and all new appliances. Even when things went awry, they remained calm and solved the problems. They worked hard to stay on schedule and deliver a beautiful kitchen. They will be my first call next time I need any work done.
