Rib Ragout Fettuccine

This is a lovely restaurant from the moment you walk in. We had reservations and were sat immediately. Hostess was very kind and the staff was very attentive and professional. We were sat upstairs on a beautiful out door patio. We were so happy with our seating for this dinner that time flew by because we were having amazing food and amazing drinks. Everything was prepared with so much love and care that you can tell this restaurant is a destination. Please make reservations if you come here. It's worth your time. Don't skip dessert. This place checks all the boxes.

The food was amazing, I had the Pulpo. The wine selection has several wines from the Guadalupe Valley, we chose La Cetto. The staff are friendly and efficient. And the ambiance was terrific, as we were finishing our meal a band started to play. The view is from above, looking down to the street.

Bluefin tuna tostada

Best food in town they had green ceviche that was just perfectly spiced. We had short ribs beef taco quesadillas that was on top on point and then we had also the bluefin tuna tostada that was so fresh and so delicious. This is the place to go and on top of that we had classic margaritas with Tsajon on top, which is the best ever.

What an experience! Inspired modern takes and attention to detail. The chef is bringing beautiful and unexpected flavors and textures together with a kiss of fire. Every bite is delicious and thoughtful. The staff is attentive and friendly, eager to please but not intrusive. A MUST try!

Great service and even better food. Went in the off season, and we were well attended and taken care of. The chef has a love for his craft that comes out in the food. The servers were all great as well!

Wow! What a great experience we had at La Lupita Taco and Mezcal…read more This is a taco place. Don't expect any else on the menu except soup & salad and a couple of apps & sides. There is an indoor area or outside courtyard you can choose from. We had the pleasure of working with several Staff members including our main waiter, Marco as well as Ivan and Miriam. They were all so fun and attentive. They brought us a small serving of soup as an appetizer. My husband had a taste of the tortilla broth which had a little kick to it and I had the bean soup. Both were a nice sampling of the soup they offered. We ordered the chips & huac to start. The chips were thick and crispy. The guacamole tasted super fresh and bright. Now, the tacos are some of the best tacos we've ever eaten in MX or the US. The creativity and variety of toppings were outstanding. I really enjoyed the EL TAKESHI 190MX Rib Eye, Sesame, Hoisin, Ginger, Chives, Crispy Shallots, Flour tortilla. The meat was cooked perfectly and the flavor they developed was delicious. I also ordered the MEXICAN FLANK STEAK $150MX. Fresh Chiapas Cheese , Arugula, Crispy Leek & Potato, Macha Sauce, Yellow Corn tortillas. All these flavors worked so well together. One of the tastiest tacos they have on the menu is a cheese based tortilla taco called CHEESE CRUST PASTOR $100MX. Talk about a flavor bomb. Marinated Pork, Asadero Cheese Crust, Cilantro, Onion, Pineapple. My husband also ordered the CHIPOTLE SHRIMP $165MX. Shrimp, Chipotle Cream, fried parsley, flour tortilla. He loved it. For my Arizona friends, they will be opening a Scottsdale location in 2027. I can wait. Add this to your must try restaurants. Also, they just opened a location in Dallas Texas.

It has that energetic taco-bar vibe people rave about, but still feels relaxed enough to really enjoy your meal. We started with the guacamole and it was excellent -- fresh, bright, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made to order. A great way to kick things off. For tacos, everything we tried was outstanding. The cheese shell al pastor was next level -- crispy, savory, and indulgent in the best way. The pastor had that smoky-sweet flavor people always mention in reviews, with just the right char. The miso fish taco was a surprise standout -- super flavorful, slightly sweet and umami-forward, and perfectly cooked. The milanesa taco had great crunch and seasoning, and the chipotle shrimp packed just the right amount of smoky heat without overpowering the shrimp. You can tell why so many reviews mention the creativity here -- these aren't just standard street tacos. The flavor combinations are bold and unique while still feeling authentically Baja. Service was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. Drinks were great, the energy was fun without being overwhelming, and the whole experience felt memorable. If you're in San José del Cabo and want elevated tacos in a vibrant setting, La Lupita is a must.

We had our wedding there so these are my sentiments on that. From start to finish, the team went truly above and beyond. Mariana, our day-of planner, was exceptional-- calm & proactive. She anticipated needs before they arose and ensured the entire day flowed seamlessly. Ernesto, the property manager, was equally incredible. He guided us through the wine selections with care and expertise and was hands-on throughout the reception--circulating among guests, refilling glasses, and making sure everyone felt taken care of (perhaps a little too well, in the best way). The execution of the wedding was flawless. Everything we envisioned and described was brought to life exactly as we had hoped--if not better. Dinner was a dream: a long, elegant table set beneath the passion fruit vines, surrounded by the sounds and scents of the farm and garden. The reception under the stars felt intimate and enchanting. Mariana recommended soft lighting along the path to the restrooms so guests could move safely and comfortably--a small detail that speaks volumes about the level of care. She even set them up for us as we brought some beautiful Luminary bags from the states - guests loved this touch. Our guests could not stop praising the venue's natural beauty. The smells of the garden, the warmth of the farm, and the effortless elegance of the setting made the evening unforgettable. Dancing all night in the banana grove is a memory we will carry with us forever. The vibe was natural and authentic, unlike some other venues that seem commercial - so this fit us perfectly. We are endlessly grateful to the Tamarindos team for creating such a meaningful, stunning, and joy-filled experience. This venue is truly special, and we cannot thank them enough.

The restaurant itself is beautiful--definitely a great spot if you like taking photos. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, and a standout touch was the chef coming to our table to explain menu items and offer recommendations. The Caesar salad was delicious, and honestly, everything we tried was great. It is a bit on the pricier side, but the overall experience made it worth it. There was also a mariachi band playing the night we visited, which created a fun and lively atmosphere--just don't forget to bring some cash to tip them (unlike us!). Overall, it felt like a polished, slightly upscale dining experience. They also have a small shop inside the restaurant with souvenirs, which was a nice bonus.

After, they brought us champagne to celebrate which was such a thoughtful touch. We also had the chicken fajitas and margaritas and both were so good. Honestly, this has already been one of our favorite spots when we're in the area, but now it means so much more to us. I'm talking the kind of band that makes you want to order another margarita just so you can clap along like you suddenly grew up in Guadalajara. And the food? Real-deal Mexican classics mole, enchiladas, chile rellenos big flavors coming out of a kitchen that knows what it's doing. Now let's talk about the chips and salsa, because I didn't come here to play games. Some restaurants give you chips like they're doing you a favor three chips and a little salsa like it's a museum sample. Not here. These chips show up ready to party. Crunchy, warm, and the salsa hits you like, "Hola amigo, welcome to flavor." Add the incredible service and that mariachi band floating through the courtyard and suddenly dinner turns into a whole event. Honestly, this place was one of the highlights of my Cabo trip and my socks? Yeah... they're still somewhere on the floor from those chips and salsa.

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.
