I can't believe how many times I've been here since Monday! The service is impeccable and I love the tacos and guacamole and did I mention the margaritas? Five star in every way! The seafood tacos are so good. I'm going back there tonight and will take more pictures of the menu etc.

My husband and I just had drinks here but for us, it was an excellent experience. The bartenders really make your time here worth it. They're engaging and will answer all the stupid questions anyone may have without making you feel stupid, lol. I kid but they really were on point when we asked about some certain tequilas which they let us try. I enjoyed the Pink Mary while my husband stuck with margaritas that were balanced and flavorful without being overpowering on mix or tequila. If you want to grab a drink before heading out, this is an excellent option. Five stars for the service alone. Great staff.

We stayed at the Waldorf and their restaurants do not disappoint! Don Manual's food was great but their service was amazing. The staff is so attentive it was truly such a pleasant experience. From beginning to end we were taken care of. Definitely recommend dining here if you're staying at the Waldorf! Loved the soft shell risotto for an app and the berries and cream for desert so definitely recommend both! I personally preferred the sea bass to the yellowtail but my husband loved the yellowtail more. Will definitely try some new entrees the next time we come back, but all the plating and food pairings were thoughtful and exceptional!

Amazing ambience, located at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Cabo. The service was stellar my friends and I are vegetarian and we had lots of options to choose from which were all reasonably priced. We had the avocado risotto which was very flavorful, vegetarian fajitas and a mushroom dish. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Cabo!

Update a year later from my first review: This past time we went here the service wasn't as good (for breakfast) which was unfortunate. Although overall this is still a 5 star restaurant! The food is still delicious though especially for dinner and they still have an impressive beverage selection at breakfast and drink selection at lunch and dinner!

The food isn't the star here. It is the service! I have never had service this good before. One of the servers literally told me I did not need to move my arms. They will take care of everything for me. I was like "what?" Wasn't sure how to act or do. Never really had this situation before, but "okay!" I'll try something new! One thing they did that was unique and fun was the server coming over with free toast and he asked if we ordered it. We said we didn't. They he kept playing and acting, but it turned out to be a surprise! Nice touch. Water and juice refilled constantly. Constant attention. Food wise, I was hungry and starving and the food looked good. Definitely enough to feed me for the whole day. The feeling of the place is relaxed and most people chose to eat outdoors. Do know that there are birds and some bugs outdoors, but the feeling of eating outdoors is nice.

Wonderful ambiance. My husband highly enjoyed his steak (it was perfectly seasoned and well cooked) but my lamb shank lacked seasoning. The meat itself was very tender but the broth they poured in the bowl really did nothing for it. I will say though, the truffle Mac and cheese side was delightful. The service was fantastic, it just wasn't a 5 star experience for me. It was worth a dinner reservation, I would just get something different next time :)

Love Don Manuel's so much! Always outstanding service, the views are so amazing. We went for drinks at the bar area & enjoyed the sunset. Even just for drinks the experience was amazing.

Very pleased with the food and service. Breakfast options are continental, buffet and you can order off the menu. I preferred the continental which came with fresh fruit and choice of oatmeal, cereal or granola/yogurt. I was a fan of the oatmeal but heard good things about the granola. Dinner options were plenty but once I discovered the tacos I never strayed. I spent the days thinking about my taco combinations in the evening. Best fancy tacos I have ever had.

We did the wine & dine around the globe dinner at Don Manuel's and I only wish I had taken more pictures but I was enjoying the meal too much to bother with my phone. Highly recommend this experience, the food was fantastic and I was so impressed by the sommeliers recommendations. He took us on a tour of the wine cellar after and made the experience so special. The service was impeccable and the ambiance is great for groups and couples.

We had wonderful meals at Don Manuel's during our stay at the Waldorf Astoria. Every meal was super fresh and delicious. You have to order the French toast at breakfast and the fish was all so fresh at dinner! The service was next level. Every server went above and beyond to make each meal a pleasant experience. Special shout out to Salvador and Heriberto who took great care of us every morning for breakfast.

Upscale food with a fantastic view at the stunning Waldorf hotel, though service wasn't up to par. For the premium fees you pay bring here, that was extremely disappointing. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere 4.5 Kids menu: yes Opentable able: yes Cost to worth it rating: 2 (definitely a spendier spot being at a Waldorf) Return worthiness: maybe Highlights: - Lobster special: full lobster grilled. Simple and divine. 4.5 stars - Dessert sampler: peanut butter cream puff w chicharron on top, slice of banana French toast, brownie, and mousse. They were all good. 4.5 stars - Chocolate chip cookies: on kids menu, came with 3 cookies topped with m and ms. Big hit. 4.5 stars - Pork chop: on the bone. Thick and tasty. 4 stars - Kids pasta: my son enjoyed the butter noodles. 4 stars Midlights: - Easter brunch but no egg or breakfast items. - Goat cheese pastry appetizer: thought it would be melty under the pastry but was chunks. 3 stars - Only champagne was $40 a glass and didn't care for the Prosecco. Lowlights: - Lacking service: Took almost a half hour to order, 15 min to even get a menu after we asked. Each time we wanted to ordered a drink it took a while to locate our waiter and even longer for it to arrive. It was Easter so they met have been short staffed, but definitely very disappointed for a Waldorf hotel restaurant where they typically pride themselves on stellar service. Unfortunately this negatively impacted our otherwise nice meal. Would potentially return for another meal hoping the service was a fluke that day.

Pros: - great staff - really pretty surroundings - easy to get a reservation - decent prices - desserts were amazing! - desserts and appetizers were good for 6 people. Cons: - had better ribeye somewhere else. The flavor wasn't really there. Kind of disappointed about it. Overall, wasn't that impressed with the food. I had high expectations because it's in the Waldorf Astoria. The scenery was beautiful though!

I'm talking the kind of band that makes you want to order another margarita just so you can clap along like you suddenly grew up in Guadalajara. And the food? Real-deal Mexican classics mole, enchiladas, chile rellenos big flavors coming out of a kitchen that knows what it's doing. Now let's talk about the chips and salsa, because I didn't come here to play games. Some restaurants give you chips like they're doing you a favor three chips and a little salsa like it's a museum sample. Not here. These chips show up ready to party. Crunchy, warm, and the salsa hits you like, "Hola amigo, welcome to flavor." Add the incredible service and that mariachi band floating through the courtyard and suddenly dinner turns into a whole event. Honestly, this place was one of the highlights of my Cabo trip and my socks? Yeah... they're still somewhere on the floor from those chips and salsa.

But that was the end of the positive things as a swarm of flies quickly came to eat the food. Trying to swat them away helped a bit but there was way too many of them. I eventually flagged a waiter down, and he shrugged at the flies. A minute later some candle flame thing came out saying that it will help with the flies but already that was too late as flies were all over the food and I lost my appetite at that point. It was disgusting. I just got up and left. Went to cashier to pay my bill. The cashier also shrugged at my fly incident, and I asked how much it was going to be. Full price. No consideration about bad operating environment and since they knew about the fly issue they didnt setup before food was served to control it better. Even after bringing it up again in detail, she shrugged again. No sorry or anything, just a brush off. Then to make it even worse she asked if I wanted to tip the service. I was in there for a few minutes, staff didnt help quickly or even pre-empt the fly issue, and I'm being asked to pay full price. Sorry but no thanks. How did this place get on the Michelin list? Service poor. Environment poor. Zero or negative star rating for me.

Proper Mexican mole the kind built from dried chiles, nuts, seeds, and even a whisper of chocolate thick, dark, mysterious stuff that tastes like it took a committee of grandmothers three days to invent. I took one bite and nearly wrote home about it. Rich, smoky, a little sweet... the sort of sauce that makes a man pause mid-chew and reconsider every sauce he has ever trusted before. Then the tacos arrived, and that's when things got serious. These weren't tidy little tacos meant for polite company. No sir. These were the kind where the juice runs down your hands and you stop worrying about manners because flavor has taken command of the ship. La Lupita is known around Cabo for its creative tacos and massive mezcal selection, and judging by the crowd and the music humming through the place, folks already know the secret. The evening we dined here it was raining, and while that is normally not significant, Roasted is partially open-air with the middle of the restaurant having no cover, so the rain was pouring in and effectively closed 60% of the place. When we arrived, the hostess and owner were apologetic and offered to rebook us, but we aren't quitters and a little rain does hurt us...but they also had a table near the entrance that was covered, so we decided to take it and enjoy our evening. Best decision ever! We started our evening off with a few cocktails paired with shrimp ceviche, queso fundido with chorizo, guacamole and an assortment of salsas. Once we ate through all this goodness, we tossed in our main courses of short rib, octopus, imperial shrimp and tampequena's. Finally we rounded out our meal with a few desserts consisting of cheesecake, chocolate flan and key lime pie! Everything was cooked to perfection, plated beautifully and absolutely delectable from first to last bite! The tampequena was my order and consisted of flank steak sided with a chile relleno and quesadilla...all of my favorite things as one meal? Sign me up! The desserts were delightful with all of us non-flan people being converted after trying the chocolate flan! Ownership put the desserts and a round of tequila shots on the house due to rain, which is more than they had to do. We were beyond thankful and appreciative. Service was phenomenal as well. Our server, the hostess, owner and food runners were all engaged, friendly and helpful. The space itself is absolutely gorgeous! The lit tree in the middle of the restaurant is a centerpiece and a perfect anchor to the decor and vibe. Overall, Roasted was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a long time, and definitely the best one we had while in Cabo. Do yourself a favor and come here! We definitely know we will be back!
