power washing was a complete ripoff. The man (trying to not use names at the moment while the issue…read moreis ongoing) came to our house to give us an estimate and said he did power washing too. We said great, our fence is old and needs a good washing. He said that it would look nearly brand new when he was done with it. He did NOT mention anything about "levels of service" or additional additional fees for prep work or anything like that. One cost, one time service, at an hourly rate. Short to say, they did a horrible job. I asked him to come back out and see if he stood by the result. He told my husband that we "didn't pay additional for any prep work" and that's just what we get. He said he could do the job right if we paid more money. He said he was willing to work on the price.....as if that was supposed to make up for having to pay two times for one service.. We actually ended up doing it ourselves...took us a few hours to do what we had already paid them for. I have pictures comparing our work to theirs...it's a night and day difference. I have literally no idea what service they think they provided, but it sure wasn't cleaning my fence. They'll respond to this and say "We told them that they could pay more for a better product." Well, that's simply not true. They never said that we were going to get a crummy job done, and that we'd need to pay more for it to be right. And I'm sorry, but power washing is not a highly skilled service. Why not just do it right the first time? Why try to charge me twice for one service? The funny thing is that I have a broken arm right now, and I managed to do a better job myself one-handed than this crew did. I did contact ABW directly prior to this review and gave them an opportunity to make it right. They did not, and they tried to charge me more money again. Unfortunately, I will be calling the BBB in an effort to get my refund. Once the BBB sees the pictures, I have zero doubt of this getting resolved quickly. The windows were fine, so that's how they managed the 2 stars.

To his credit it was late afternoon when he washed them, but the next morning in the sunlight, you could see the film and residue on the windows. See my photos. He didn't use squeegees, just microfiber cloths and a scrubber. I would not recommend.

If you're reading this I bet you're thinking, "do they really have all 5-star reviews? That's not…read morepossible." BUT IT IS!! From the call to get a quote, to arriving, cleaning & following up Mike was incredible. His customer service is a breath of fresh air in a space where customer service doesn't seem to exist any longer. He returned calls, was detailed in his services, gave plenty of notice when he'd arrive, did an amazing job on our windows (more on that later) & was absolutely delightful to be around. We recently got new windows & the company paid for us to have the windows professionally cleaned so I reached out Dallas Windows & Gutter Cleaning. Mike was able to get me in the following week (prior to my daughter's 1st birthday as I'd hoped) & gave me a quote over the phone. He followed up a couple days before arriving & also gave me a text heads up when he was on the way with his ETA. Mike's military background shined through in his respectful nature, hard work, attention to detail & desire to leave us 100% satisfied. In addition, this is a family business which delighted us. His two children & wife accompanied him on the job and wow, it's been a long time since I've met such respectful & kind children. They worked just as hard as their parents did & were an incredible team. When all (41) windows had been cleaned Mike walked the entire house re-checking & went back to perfect a handful of them without me even asking. He asked that I walk the house & make sure they were to my 100% satisfaction. They worked HARD on our windows - there was still sticker glue, caulking & silicone left by the installers which Mike & his family spent a great deal of time working to get off the glass. I could not be happier with the quality of work, the kindness & efficiency with which Mike & his family worked. We will be customers of Dallas Windows & Gutter Cleaning from now on!
