I brought in a 72" John Deere Diesel zero turn mower in for a basic fluid change and service. I can change filters and fluids as easy as the next guy however I thought it a good idea to have a professional who might catch something Im not aware of to look it over. I was told they would look it over change the fluids, filters, sharpen the blades and wash it. ( I had impression of my tractor coming out clean and ready for this season.) I also told them to please look at the adjustment of the steering handles as they were touching when they are not supposed to. I was told no problem. when I picked it up it still had grass in the back screen and deck with mud and dirt all over it. It looked as though the associate just sprayed it with a garden hose right before bringing it out front. It was soaked with balls of mud all over the deck. it definitely was not clean at all. wet yes...clean? not at all. When I got on it I realized the bars were still touching. to their credit they did adjust them after I brought it to their attention but I was a little taken back that the technician they had adjust them admitted he didn't know how to do it but figured it out as we looked at it. I'm not sure if the tech was a tractor tech and not the mower tech but I would have been fine to leave it there to have the right person look at it. bottom line is it wasn't looked at like was promised. it wasn't washed as promised. heck I'll change my own fluids and sharpen blades for that much. Its possible they focus on big tractors and maybe mowers not so much.... I don't know but this is my first review ever. i never say anything but thought others might want to save their money. guess I should have looked at their rating before I went. 1.5 says a lot. I never complain but spending close to 400 bucks for a routine fluid change and a dirty mower didn't set well with me. read more
