I later learned from reviewing my paperwork that these were actually listed as part of a separate $300 comprehensive examination. At no point during that transition did I realize that I had moved from the complimentary consultation into a paid examination. After meeting with the doctor, I initially agreed to move forward with the recommended 8-week corrective care program and received treatment that day. Before leaving, however, I told the doctor that I wanted some time to think about the commitment before continuing. I paid the $300 examination fee and left believing I had taken care of the cost of that day's visit. The following day, after notifying the office that I had decided not to continue with the program, I was informed that I also owed for the treatments, supplies, and supplements I received during the initial visit, bringing the total cost of that one visit to nearly $1,000. I understand that I signed paperwork containing information about fees and that I initially agreed to proceed with treatment. My issue is with how the financial expectations were communicated during the actual visit. I did not leave the office understanding that I still had an additional balance that would be charged if I chose not to continue. I wish each transition, from the complimentary consultation, to the paid examination, to paid treatment and products, had been clearly explained along with the associated costs before moving forward. Had I understood that my initial visit could result in nearly $1,000 in charges I would not have received services here.

After sharing my first experience with a few close friends, I received a glowing review from a trusted friend who urged me to visit Dr. Godwin. From the very first visit, the office team, intern and doctor were 180 degree different than the last doctor. I've been seeing Dr. Godwin for the past several weeks twice a week and him amazed at the change in mobility and energy levels. I had no idea how limited i was in mobility before my body started healing! The Active Family Wellness center is about chiropractic care, but it's also about whole body wellness: physical therapy, chiropractic massage, health and overall wellness. They offer seminars and classes on various topics. Dr. Godwin can assist with anything opening nasal passages to avoiding surgery with regular adjustments and exercises. If I thought that Arlington Orthopedics was bad about blowing up up your phone, Baylor is a thousand times worse especially when it comes to getting their money before your procedure! I received multiple calls and text from multiple people there daily wanting their money. We were waiting for our insurance to process claims from another procedure somewhere else where our deductible could be seen by Baylor. Still the day before my procedure they sent another text saying they have to have my payment tomorrow in all caps! What business does this? Even on the day of we had to sit in the business office and hash all this over again and again which made things very stressful before having a procedure. Lastly out of 2 visits there, I have only encountered one nice person. No one there cares about anything except getting your money. My advice is to think long and hard about Arlington Orthopedics if you think you may need an actual procedure and then you better have your money ready and your ducks in a row. Baylor Scott & White is very aggressive in getting their money. That's all that matters to them.
